Story
Hi, I’m Kabru! I’m a 3-year-old, 73-pound German Shepherd mix with a big personality and an even bigger heart. My journey started at Pasadena Humane as part of a fire relief effort before I made my way to TAP. I spent about three months in the shelter before getting my second chance, and now I’m ready to find my forever home! I’m a lovable, high-energy goofball who’s always ready for fun! I’m smart, affectionate, and love being the center of attention—but I’ll admit, I can be a little mischievous too (in the most charming way, of course). I thrive in an active home that keeps me engaged, and while I sometimes struggle with focus and have a little separation anxiety, I have so much potential! I’d do great with structure, training, and even a job to keep me busy. Whether it’s a long hike, a trip to the brewery, or an evening walk by the bay, I’m always up for an adventure! I’m already crate, leash, and potty trained, though I’m still working on getting even better on leash. Some of my favorite things? Kongs, tug-of-war, and long sniffy walks! I’m looking for an active family who has the time and patience to help me grow into the best companion I can be. I’d love a home with older kids and larger dog friends who can keep up with my energy and help show me how to be a polite gentleman. With the right guidance and plenty of playtime, I know I’ll make an amazing adventure buddy and loyal best friend. Could that be you? My adoption fee is $350 and that includes spaying/neutering, shots, and microchip. Story
Kona is a sweet, smart, healthy, and athletic girl. I adopted her in 2016 and at the time, the vet said was 2-3 years old. I was single then and had lots of time time to spend with her. I’m now married with two small children, a full time job (active duty military) and a husband who deploys regularly. I can no longer give Kona the get the exercise or attention she deserves and she is home alone all day which causes her anxiety. It pains me to have to look for a better home for her, but the circumstances of my life aren’t fair to her. I’m hoping to find someone who can love her and give her the attention she deserves.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Loving, smart young adultJasper is an adorable, friendly 1.5 year old mix ready for his forever home. Jasper originally came from the streets in La Paz, Baja California, Mexico, where he had been abandoned in a cemetery with two siblings when they were just a few weeks old. A kind soul spotted them hiding there on their own, scared and trying to survive, and friends rescued the three pups. Jasper was adopted in 2023 but recently returned (to no fault of his own) as his family can no longer care for him due to a progressive medical disability.  Jasper is lovable, well behaved and a super smart dog who knows basic commands. He loves to play ball and be outside. He was taught to ring the bell on the door handle to ask to be let outside to potty.  He would do best as an only dog and prefers females. He is up to date on all vaccines and is healthy.  Please consider adopting sweet Jasper - he can't wait to find his person to curl up on the couch and be your companion!
