Story
Oso is a very loving boy. He is approximately 1 year old. I rescued him from a home where he was being kept tied up outside. I have been caring for him until I can find a forever home. While in my care he has been neutered, had some training( sit, heal, down, wait, recall, let’s go) utd on vaccines, on Simparica Trio( flea, tick, heartworm preventative). He is crate trained. Walks well with a lead( we currently use the Halti Head Collar). He would do well in a home where he is an only pet or possibly with a pet similar in size to him. We do not do public dog parks as he gets overstimulated with too many dogs around. Oso loves to give you his paw. Loves walks and running in the yard. Would do well in an active household.

Story
Scooter is a very sweet boy, good with children and cats. He does not react to deer, golf carts, walkers, bikers, or small dogs when out walking, but does show reactivity with large dogs by barking and pulling. In the home, he is so lovely, calm, and friendly. He is a very laid back and relaxed dog. He is extremely responsive with treats on walks and his reactivity is easily managed with the use of food rewards. He still needs a bit of distance from larger dogs (20-30 feet) to be able to stay calm, but has done really well when this strategy is used. He has worked with a trainer and would benefit continuation to build social confidence. Scooter becomes very attached to his family. He loves with his whole heart! He has done fine with little dogs. Scooter would love a foster family, foster to adopt or a forever home. If interested, you can complete our application at safeanimalhaven.orgNovember 5, 2024, 12:12 am

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.  Hi. My name is Jack. I am told I am both a handsome and well behaved guy. I was surrendered to the rescue because I had an owner that was not familiar with my breed and did not give me the proper mental and physical stimulation I needed and I got into trouble and made some mistakesSince being at the rescue, I have lost weight, learned some agility, I love to take a dunk in the kiddie pool, and I have been used as the distraction dog in training classes, I am housebroken, crate trained, up to date on all my vaccines and microchipped. My favorite things are going on walks, obedience training, and enjoying a nice chew bone. But my most favorite thing of all is to hang out with my favorite human! If you think I might be the guy for you, please put in an application.   Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.Hi. I am new to the rescue. My foster mom will update when she learns more about me.For more information and to submit an application, got to www.arrfnc.com. Thanks!November 5, 2024, 9:56 pm

Story
Oliver was found by Columbia Animal Services on 2/1/24. He is believed to be about 4 years old weighing just under 80lbs and was neutered at the shelter on 2/9/24. Columbia Animal Services shelter is running at almost max capacity frequently and dogs that do not get adopted out risk euthanasia at the shelter. We are currently fostering Oliver to get him out of that environment. Oliver is very smart, he knows commands like sit, lay-down, shake, stay. He is house trained and has not needed to be crated when we are not home. He gets along well (for the most part) with our 2 dogs. He is also amazing with our 9yo son. They bonded immediately and Oliver follows him everywhere and sleeps in his room.
