Myrlin is an almost 3 year old mix of a standard poodle and groendael, a type of Belgium shepherd. He was born in Sarasota Fl and is now in Austin Texas. He was exposed to toxic mold at an early age and is recovering from the neurological changes that occurred in him from this. While he loves other dogs and children, he will do best right now as the only dog in a kid free home. He would be a wonderful companion to an active adult or couple! He loves to chase balls, go on endless walks, and be active and engaged. He is a goofy, playful, loving, soulful dog. He is very smart and very aware of what is going on around him. He has been raised eating a raw food diet and is currently on a homeopathic treatment program. He needs someone who is into healthy living. He is both independent and also loves being near his people. If you are interested in learning more about this special animal, please reach out.

Story
Jax has been with current owner since 2018. He was adopted through a shelter here in Texas. Jax is suspected to be between the age of 7.5-8.5 years old. He is a full breed long haired german shepherd. Temperament: -Protective, Can show signs of aggression towards other animals he doesn't know, Food Aggressive, loves exercise, Great on leash, Good with older children, does not do well with children who pull or sit on him [Never bitten, but will growl/snarl]. If you're looking for a loyal and protective dog, Jax will pass the test. He is very attentive to his surroundings at all times, but if he feels pressured he can tend to behave out of fight or flight mode. So it's good to have an experienced handler who can redirect his attention correctly. Jax would benefit from a one dog home, but currently has two brothers that he took time to warm up to. Overall, Jax is true to the core a German Shepherd who needs attention, exercise, and an experienced owner.
