Story
Melbourne is a German Shepherd/Cattle Dog mix with a calm demeanor and an adventurous spirit. He is currently being fostered at an indoor/outdoor boarding facility in Seguin, TX, but he’s eagerly awaiting a foster or adoptive home where he can thrive. Melbourne is an affectionate dog who bonds deeply with his people and enjoys being part of their lives. Whether it’s joining you for a hike, exploring a new trail, or simply hanging out in the backyard, he’s always ready for an adventure. His laid-back nature makes him easy to have around, but he also has the energy and enthusiasm to keep up with an active lifestyle. Although Melbourne is friendly with other dogs, he would do best as the only dog in his home, where he can soak up all the attention. He thrives in a structured environment and would be a perfect match for someone who enjoys an active lifestyle and is looking for a loyal companion to share it with. Melbourne’s calm and adaptable nature means he can settle in easily, whether it’s a relaxed evening at home or an exciting day out. He’s looking for a family or individual who will appreciate his affectionate personality and adventurous side. Story
Jax has been with current owner since 2018. He was adopted through a shelter here in Texas. Jax is suspected to be between the age of 7.5-8.5 years old. He is a full breed long haired german shepherd. Temperament: -Protective, Can show signs of aggression towards other animals he doesn't know, Food Aggressive, loves exercise, Great on leash, Good with older children, does not do well with children who pull or sit on him [Never bitten, but will growl/snarl]. If you're looking for a loyal and protective dog, Jax will pass the test. He is very attentive to his surroundings at all times, but if he feels pressured he can tend to behave out of fight or flight mode. So it's good to have an experienced handler who can redirect his attention correctly. Jax would benefit from a one dog home, but currently has two brothers that he took time to warm up to. Overall, Jax is true to the core a German Shepherd who needs attention, exercise, and an experienced owner.

Sweet and funny Abby needs a new home! She loves cuddling and will sleep as close as she can at night. She loves playing with you or other dogs and never says no to chewing on a bone. Big fan of the hose and suspect she would love to learn to swim. Would be best with someone that can help take her walking skills to the next level (a puller) and who has a fenced yard.

Story
My name is Lil Man aka Deuce. Deuce for two since I'm getting a second chance at life after being in the shelter. My foster Dad says I'm living life to the fullest and trying really hard at forgetting my first life. I'm still shy around some people but my foster has been teaching me to be less fearful of strangers. I would love you to help me with slow introductions when I meet new people. People always say how beautiful my brindle coat is. I'm very smart and will sit and speak for my treats, I am learning to play ball and will jump in the air to get it! I'm still working on the bring it back all the time, every time. But I'm working on it! I get along well with other dogs and I'm a great watch dog. I like to make sure my people are safe and taken care of. I love being outside in the sun and playing with my dog foster siblings or other dogs. I love the yard and think being outside is swell. When I come inside I'm a very good boy and don't get on the couch or jump on people. I do like to give little licks and kisses to the people I feel safe with. I have a zest for life and like to go for walks and runs and to play in the river. I'm potty trained and stay out during the day in the sunshine. I always try to ensure the squirrels know I'm the bosss. At night I like to sleep inside with my pals. Whoever adopts me will have to be a little patient and continue working with me on my shyness at times. New things are scary and I need you to show me it's going to be ok. My perfect home would have a nice, fenced yard, and maybe a doggy door so I can go in and out on my own. I'll probably do better with another dog in the household, I really like friends. I would love someone to play fetch with me or take me to the river and swim. I don't mind baths at all either, but I sure don't like cats! I like to keep my food just for me and don't really like to share. I know basic commands and will sit for a treat, or two. I would love to meet you and your resident dog and make some new friends!

Story
Ike is a lab at heart- all love and play, a forever treasure. When we adopted him in 2016, he was listed as a "playground star" because of how well he got along with the other dogs at the shelter. He has been raised around other dogs and cats and truly enjoys having other animals in the house, though his humans become his favorite. He is all love to visitors, children and adults alike, and would make the absolute worst guard dog. Best case scenario he has a yard or land to run around on and chase a tennis ball, but he would be happy with a comfy couch and daily walks, too. He is absolutely gorgeous, even as he ages. His black and brindle coat, one floppy ear, perpetual smile, and greying muzzle lead to a dog truly beautiful to behold and impossible to stay mad at.
