Story
We adopted Portia from the Georgetown Animal Shelter in 2015 . She is a 10 year old Golden Shepherd, we were told that she was house trained, we learned that she was not. She's been through a full training class and knows her basic commands. We adopted our second dog not too long after that, about 4 months ago Portia attacked Orion for what seemed like no reason, at that point we separated them and a few weeks later when we tried to reintroduce them she attacked him again within 5 minutes. She's never been aggressive towards our other puppy or towards any people. She was diagnosed with severe Separation Anxiety just recently. We don't know what triggers her aggression towards our other dog but would like to see her in an active home with lots of love, attention and patience, where there's no other dogs or children until her triggers can be determined. She's a very sweet dog though, loves to give hugs and kisses and has a lot of life left in her, she LOVES to run and cuddle up to you.

Story
Meet Lacey: The intelligent, loving, and energetic shepherd. Lacey is a quick learner and enjoys nothing more than cuddling up to her owner. She is constantly expanding her vocabulary and takes pleasure in playing games like 'hide and seek' with her toys. Being an alpha female, she may test boundaries, but this is typical of intelligent, dominant shepherds. Therefore, she needs an owner who can be a strong leader. Lacey is friendly towards all people and loves socializing. She's a backyard enthusiast who enjoys chasing squirrels and has a moderate energy level. Unfortunately, she doesn't get along with cats. She pulls a bit on the leash at the beginning of her walks, but settles down after a few minutes and loves taking rides in the car. Lacey is trustworthy and will make a loyal companion, adventure buddy, and a treasured member of any household. Lacey is a German Shepherd mix about 55lbs and about 3 years old.  Color: Cream/Black Housebroken: Yes Lacey is a healthy active young lady.  If you are interested in learning more about Lacey, please fill out our online application here: https://forms.gle/fXPLCeGhpAxvu7Ws8 . Story
German Sheppard/Blue Healer mix. She is 5 yrs old and looks like a mini German Shepherd. She is VERY well mannered, housebroken, 35 pounds. She does not get along with cats or small dogs. She is fine with larger dogs. I need to rehome her due to the fall risk to my elderly parents (89 and 93) that live with me. She has nearly tripped them multiple times and as a result she has to live outside during the day (shaded screened sunporch) with large tree yard for running, and sleeps inside at night. Comes with bed, kennel, food, collar, and leash.

Story
Hello, I'm a puppy named Bella and was born on May 3rd. I've been spayed, microchipped and am current with my vaccinations. My Mom wasn't wanted when she got pregnant with me, my other sister-Karmel, (cream) and 3 brothers, Blackie(black/brindle), Snowball(cream)& Sweetie (brindle), who also dream of a new home like me! A nice family fostered her and raised us until we could be adopted. My Mom is a German Shepherd and we believe my Dad to be a Catahoula Leopard Cur. I have a brindle coat and short hair like Dad so resilient to the hot Texas sun. I'm very healthy and active but crave affection. An active family or a special someone would be ideal for me since I love to play, have long walks, hiking and jump in the water. I need ample exercise to stay fit and happy. I get along great with the other dogs and cats that my foster parents have and even their bird. I'm great with meeting new people, and am family oriented. I don't bark very much other than to alert my family of a threat.

Story
I found Luna in my front year two months ago. Her previous owners abandoned her and her puppies in my community. Luna came in and very quickly adapted to the house. My 2-year-old son was able to play. My cats do not like her, but she does not mind. She only tries to play with them if they get close to her. Luna is around 5 1/2 years old and is a sweet-hearted dog. She is happy and loves to play and, more than anything, be pet. She has not been spayed yet; the procedure is expensive, and we are struggling. Luna is crate trained, potty trained, up to date on her shots, and will be a great addition to any family. I travel extensively for work, and I must board her when I am away. I can not afford it any further, but Luna deserves a home and would be a great addition to yours. She will bring love and happiness wherever she goes. Whoever takes her in I will provide 2 large bags of free food, a crate and bed, frontline flea and tick for 3 months, and all her toys at no cost.

Story
We adopted Siobhan (Sha-vawn) and her sister Sinead from a local shelter when they were just 8 weeks old. Siobhan is about 1 1/2 years old and approximately 65 lbs, much smaller than her sister. She is an amazingly smart dog. She takes to training very well and can learn just about anything if you devote the time to teaching her. Siobhan is also incredibly affectionate. She loves snuggling on the couch, belly rubs, and she gives a lot of kisses. She has been living in a house with 3 other dogs and does well with them. She is not aggressive towards them and has never shown any towards people. That being said, she does have a bit of a jealous streak. Siobhan wants to be your number one, and would be happiest as an only pet. She has never been around cats or small animals. She is house and crate trained. Siobhan would be an absolutely amazing companion/worker for an owner who has the time to devote to her training, and the space for her to be the shepherd dog she is.
