Story
‍Hello everyone, my name is Marnie! I’m a 4-year-old Bernedoodle weighing 35 pounds. I'm on the hunt for my forever home, where I can share my friendly and super sweet nature with a loving family. I was rescued from a puppy mill with my sister, Blossom. Because I was confined to a puppy mill my whole life everything is very new to me. I’m just starting to learn about the world so I will need a patient family that wants to help me learn and grow. Despite my tough start, I'm ready to embrace a new life filled with love and happiness. I'm learning to walk on a leash, and I'm making great progress every day. My foster family says I’m such a sweet girl and am kind to every new person I meet. I learned my house training really fast so you know I’m one smart cookie. My spay is scheduled, so I'll be all set to join your home soon. If you're searching for a loving companion who will bring joy and warmth to your home, I'm the one for you. I'm ready to leave my past behind and step into a future filled with love, care, and plenty of cuddles. Could you be the one to give me the forever home I've been dreaming of? If so, I'm waiting with open paws and a heart full of hope. Thank you so much for your interest in adopting a dog from A New Chance Animal Rescue (https://anewchancear.org). We are a 501c3, tax deductible organization. ANCAR is a foster-based rescue, and we adopt within a 90 mile radius of Bedford Hills, NY. You will find the adoption application here: (https://anewchancear.org/adopt/adoption-application/). All fields on the application must be completed. Please read about the adoption process (https://www.anewchancear.org/adopt/our-adoption-process/) so you'll know what to expect when you submit. Our dogs are in foster care and we do NOT have a shelter or boarding facility. AN APPLICATION MUST BE COMPLETED IN FULL AND APPROVED BEFORE A DOG CAN BE MET. This is a firm policy. Our busy volunteers are not able to respond to questions about the dog or dog meeting requests in the absence of an application. We know these dogs very well because they are in foster care. Please read the profiles of the dog(s) you are interested in prior to submitting an application. If there are specific requirements stated (ie: Fenced Yard or Canine Friend Required) these are included because they are vital to the happiness, health, safety and adoption success of that dog. We are only able to save as many dogs as we have foster homes (https://www.anewchancear.org/foster/faqs/) and resources for. We provide medical care including vaccinations, testing, deworming, spaying/neutering and microchipping before transporting our dogs. We provide all supplies, preventatives and any follow up vet care necessary while they are in foster care. These costs are high and the number of lives we can save is entirely dependent upon donations from people like you. We do not receive funding from private foundations or government sources. If you can find room in your heart to help us, with any amount, we are truly grateful (https://www.anewchancear.org/help/donate/). We are a 501c3 organization, so all donations are tax-deductible. It is only through the kindness of supporters like you that we are 'changing lives...one tail at a time' by providing our dogs with 'A New Chance.' (https://anewchancear.org) Thanks so much.

Story
Hi, I'm Logan! I'm a 5-month-old Mini Bernedoodle, and I weigh around 25 pounds. I'm on the lookout for a forever home where I can feel safe and loved. I might be a little timid at first, but once I warm up, you'll see what a sweet pup I am. I was rescued with my brother, Levi, from a puppy mill and he is also searching for his own home. The people here who rescued us even scheduled our neuter appointments. We're both adjusting to our new surroundings and learning that people can be kind and caring. With a little patience and a lot of love, I'm sure I'll come out of my shell and show you my playful, affectionate side. I'm eager to find a family who understands that I just need some time and gentle encouragement to feel secure. If you're ready to welcome a loving, sweet pup like me into your life, I promise to reward you with endless cuddles and loyalty! Story
We adopted Charlie at four months old in May 2023 from Pixies and Paws rescue. At the time I did not know I was pregnant. Now have a four month old baby; managing a puppy and the baby is proving to be too challenging. Charlie is a great dog. Fun loving. Very active. Very social. He loves being trained. I put experinced owner bc Charlie needs owners who can keep a watchful eye. Inside the home needs to be Charlie proofed; as he goes after socks, chicken bones or ripped toys that could hurt him. Restricting him to a safe area is helpful when visiting at someone’s home. Charlie loves saying hi to dogs & people. He is well socialized. He loves to play. He has a fun goofy bold personality and people instantly love him. He is incredible off leash. On leash he may pull when he needs to pee or poop. He knows the command leave it. When people enter his house, he settles in with some but can be or protective of the space with others which he expresses with his bark. Treats help calm him.

Looking For Friend as Sweet as Honey? Meet Tigger! Just like Winnie the Pooh's dear friend Tigger, this little guy is full of bouncy energy and love! Tigger is a playful and loving 9-week-old Bernadoodle mix, but don't let his bouncy name fool you - he's got a heart of gold and the sweetest disposition. His big brown eyes will melt your heart, and his snuggles will become your new favorite thing. Like his brother Eeyore, Tigger had a rough start to life and may be a little shy at first. He needs some time to warm up to new people and surroundings, but with some snuggles and patience, he'll quickly show you his true playful and loving self! Tigger gets the most adorable hiccups! It's like his little body is saying, "I'm so happy to be alive and loved!" He loves to play, cuddle, and give kisses. He's looking for a forever home where he can feel safe and loved, and where he can grow and thrive with a family who will cherish him.
