Trigger-Bernadoodle male, ~ 5yr. (March 2025) For an application, please email rescuebc@hotmail.com Trigger was surrendered to a dog trainer when his prior Breeder/owner surrndered him. At 5 yr., they considered him too old to benefit them continuing to breed him. As we know, Puppy Mills are about producing more puppies and making money off them. The adults are abandon or killed when they get to 5 or 6 yr. old. He had been a stud dog in a puppy mill and we feel so happy that he's got a chance at a real life now. The Trainer has evaluated him and shares that he has a wonderful temperament, with people and knows female dogs well. He's also bred to be smart and loyal. Trigger is a big boy, over 50#, but is full grown. Due to his size and limited life experiences so far, the trainer feels older children would be recommended. He has alot of potential as a family dog. Trigger's adoption fee is $600 to help cover the medical costs of getting ready for adoption. Chloe was surrendered to the shelter when her owner could no longer care for her. She is a 2-year-old, Bernese Mountain dog/poodle mix that currently weighs 53 pounds (she could stand to gain a few more pounds). Chloe was diagnosed with epilepsy and is on medication to control seizure activity. She is well maintained and has not had a seizure since her arrival at the shelter. The medication that she is on is relatively affordable, but she will need a home that can provide her with the vet care she will need to stay regulated, which may include needing regular bloodwork, medication changes in the future if she becomes no longer regulated. She will also need someone that can keep her groomed so that she does not get matted. When she arrived at the shelter Chloe had severe matting around her ears along with an ear infection. Chloe did very well getting groomed. Chloe did live with children, other dogs, and cats. Chloe is a sweet girl that would love to have a second chance at a loving forever home soon!
