Story
Finley is being fostered in Rowlett, TX. Finley is actually an Aussie, Bernese Mountain Doodle, 4 months old as of April 17, and will be available for adoption after he recovers from his neuter surgery scheduled April 28. If you have an active lifestyle, this is the perfect dog for you. He loves toys and playing tug of war. He gets the zoomies daily, running from one end of the yard to the other. We are working on house-breaking, and he will go outside during the day on a regular basis. However, he tends to forget his training in the late afternoons and early evenings. We will keep working with him and hopefully be successful before he is ready for adoption. He sleeps in a crate at night from about 10pm until 7am and has not had any accidents while crated. Finley was born with both eyes underdeveloped. He sees fine out of his right eye, but only shadows from the other according to an ophthalmologist. But wait until you see those beautiful, light blue eyes! Also, because of his doodle mix, he doesn't shed at all! BDRA has voted against the use of electrical fencing effective immediately.

Meet Walter!Walter is an amazing, super playful and cuddly little fluff ball minature Poodle mix just waiting for his people. He’s about 19 months old and weighs 10lbs (so long that he hasn’t received too much human food with his cute pleading look).Walter LOVES to play with his dog friends, so much so that he will need another playful pup in his forever home to play with. He’s timid around dogs larger than him, so pups under 25lbs-ish only.He’s fully house trained, neutered and current with all his vaccines! He doesn’t love a crate but he eats and will rest in one if required. He’d much rather spend his nights in his human’s bed.Walter LOVES people, kids aged 10+ (little kids make him nervous), and especially men. It would be best if there wasn`t an elderly individual in the home as Walter can pose a tripping hazard as he tends to be underfoot a lot. Once people feel how soft his coat is, they fall in love with him too. His foster family calls him a little lamb. He’s a pro with grooming and his coat will require weekly brushing to maintain that fluffy, mat free, softness. I got Arlo as a gift last August. He’s almost a year (human) so he’s young. I’m looking for a home where they will meet his needs, take him on long walks because he’s very energetic preferably someone who is active. He’s very loving and loves being the center of attention. Loves being on peoples laps and belly rubs.
