You see, I is an extremely affectionate, playful, and adventurous pup that is around 10 months and weighs about 50 lbs. I shouldn't get any or much bigger, depends on how many treats I can sucker you out of!!! ;) That puts me at a perfectly pawsome size for tagging along on ALL your adventures from the mundane daily to your weekend exciting!! I do well with people both the tall and small versions and other pups too! I would do wonderful being a 'sibling' to either the 2 or 4 legged variety or hogging all the attention as your one and only!! I'm an active fella that would love to be included in ALL your adventures. We could go on neighborhood strolls, go on hikes, take camping trips...you think it and I'm right there to give it a try - so if you're an outdoorsy type, I could definitely be the pup for you! I walk really well on the leash and love playing with my toys and running around the yard. But when the day is done, I is a total cuddle bug and would absolutely love nothing more than curling up on the couch with my people. Bernie is the life of the party with his goofy personality and sweetness! He knows his basic manners which he gained through the Puppies for Parole program. He enjoys playing with other dogs that match his enthusiasm for life. He respects the boundaries of other dogs who find him too much and will move along to find another opportunity for a play pal. He is house and crate trained and working on his leash skills. Bernie wants a family that is fun, loving and adventurous because life is exciting, and he wants to celebrate it all! Also, he’s a big love and snuggle bug. Approximate Birthdate: 6/15/2023 Adoption Fee: $200 TARA's adoption fee includes: spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccinations, microchip, heartworm test (if age appropriate), heartworm and flea prevention, and deworming. TARA's pets are all eligible for a TWO WEEK TRIAL. Due to the fact that many of our dogs come from the local city shelters, we do not know the background of many of them and therefore cannot always guarantee age or breed.
