Story
This BernieDoodle was born 11/2023. He was recently neutered and is up to date on shots. Very loving and playful. He has never bitten anyone. His only behavior issue is he is very energetic and will chase animals, during which time no invisible fence or shock collar will stop him. This is why we cannot keep him as we cannot fence in our yard. He needs a physically fenced in area or large acreage away from a road where he can run. And he does run! He typically does fine with other dogs. Free to a good home but you must have the time to train and spend with him. You must be ready to be the owner of a large, active and playful dog that needs attention and have a safe environment for him in which to run and play. Please do not apply if you plan to crate him several hours during the day. He currently is crated at night to sleep and he does fine with that. He will not be happy being crated for hours during the daytime. He has too much energy for that!

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.   If you would like to take me home please complete a Pet Adoption Application   Female, Mini Bern Sierra Mist is a gentle soul who needs extra time and patience to warm up to new people. She’s been with us for a few months and is still learning to trust, but with the right person, we know she’ll blossom. If you’re willing to go slow and let her come around at her own pace, she could be the perfect companion for you!   She’s dog selective , meaning she gets along with some dogs but not all—so a meet-and-greet would be necessary to see if she’s a good match. Her feelings about cats are unknown.   Sierra Mist is still working on her leash skills, but enjoys running around in a pen. She’s also sensitive to loud noises and heavy traffic, so a calm, quiet home would suit her best. She’s not really into toys and can be a bit picky with her food and treats, but we think she just hasn’t found her favorites yet!   If you’re looking for a dog who needs a little extra love and patience, Sierra Mist might just be the one.  &#226&#128&#139      Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.  February 26, 2025, 8:41 pm

Story
Janey is absolutely stunning and is going to be a wonderful, steadfast companion for an adopter willing to put in the time, patience and understanding. Janey has settled into her foster home beautifully and is steadily showing us how beautiful her heart is. Janey does take some time to trust new people, but once she does, her carefree, entirely relaxed personality shines through. She enjoys being outside and chewing on nylabones. Janey is entirely crate trained and potty trained - she arrived understanding both. She is inconsistent with listening to commands (depending on what is going on around her) but she does know what is expected of her, understands the routine and knows her name. Janey loves affection and being with her person once she has built a relationship with them. She is also completely content to lay alongside of another dog. She gets along beautifully with other dogs and looks to them for confidence - walking nicely on a leash with another dog (but not nearly as confident when walking alone). She shares toys nicely and can eat alongside other dogs.  She has been an exemplary house guest indoors. Janey’s foster is willing to provide advice after adoption (if needed) to her adopter. In order for Janey to thrive in an adoptive home, we are looking for the following: Older, respectful children Fenced in yard preferred  Patient and understanding adopter Another dog in the home is a must  - should be a good example - friendly, confident (Janey tends to prefer other females but gets along well with all dogs) Quiet neighborhood (not made for city living) Janey is part of our "Meet Me" program. This program allows potentially interested adopters to talk to the foster directly and/or meet the dog before deciding to adopt or put in an application. Just send an email to meet_me@mostlymuttz.org and her foster will be in touch!  Janey is heartworm positive and has begun treatment. Please dont let this scare you away - Heartworm is curable and is not contagious. For additional information regarding heartworm or the treatment, please email the rescue at mostlymuttz@gmail.com www.mostlymuttz.org   #beautifulsoul #shybutworthit #mostlymuttzrescue #learningtolovelife ##2253511##

Story
🤫 We don’t Talk about Bruno 🤫 We don’t talk about Bruno… because he is the foster that is just about perfect and his foster family is having a really hard time giving him up. Bruno is a 2year old, male, Bernese Mountain Dog. He is short and stocky for the breed. He is 96lbs but could benefit from a healthy weight diet. He acts like he is starved 95% of the time and will always take a treat or pretend he didn’t get fed that morning. He is always smiling and constantly has a helicopter tail wag. Do you love to cuddle? Love dogs in bed? Love dogs on the couch right on top of you? Bruno is your guy he wants to be as close as he can to humans. He absolutely loves to snuggle. He is dog friendly. He will grumble if a dog is jumpy in his face. He is currently living with two female dogs and doing well. He is ok with cats but is interested in them. When they are lying down he ignores them. But if they are meowing at him or hissing he will peruse and bark at them. The foster home also has a guinea pig and Bruno does not like when the guinea pig is in the cage running around he will bark at him. Outside of the cage is fine. Bruno loves having a backyard to lay in. If he could he would spend all day outside lying on the porch watching the neighborhood he would. He walks well on the leash. Bruno was a free run dog on a farm so he is used to marking and peeing freely. He is still adjusting to in the house life and will occasionally mark. Bruno is up-to-date on vaccines, he is neutered, had a dental and is ready to go to his forever home. If you are interested please apply @zoeshouserescue.com Kennel #9117 Sinking Spring, PA
