Our adoption fees vary. Each biography will specifically list the adoption fee. This dog will be at Palo Alto Pet Food Express on Saturday, January 11th from 12-3pm or until adopted. If you would like the first opportunity to adopt, please fill out an application to be considered.       Adoption Fee: $850   Lambchop is a 3 year old Bichon Frise x Miniature Poodle who is ready to be the bestest friend you’ve ever had! Lambchop was rescued from the shelter as a skinny matted lump of a dog who needed some TLC and a rescue to give him a chance. We knew we could give him a makeover and after a good groom and a few baths, this handsome dude was ready to hit the adoption scene! Lambchop weighs 12 pounds and has a gorgeous non-shedding coat that will require regular grooming. He is an option for homes with allergies. If you’re ready for the best dog ever, adopt Lambchop!       Lambchop is a cuddly gentleman who wants nothing more than a lifetime by your side! He took a few days to get settled into his foster home when we first rescued him (who could blame him) but once he did he realized that his life ahead was full of treats and snuggles! Lambchop loves the softer things in life and would love a throne of plush beds to lay on… if your lap is occupied. If it isn’t, then he’s happy to snuggle the hours away. Lambchop would be a fabulous companion for a WFH human as he just wants to be near you at all times! Lambchop has an even temperament and a moderate energy level. He’s still learning how to “dog” as we say, but we think he would learn to love playing with toys. Lambchop would love to hit the trails with you before ending the day curled up on your lap as you watch TV. What a dream!  Lambchop wakes up around 7 AM and is ready to take on the day. Once he has his breakfast, he gets some cuddles along with a treat and then heads out on his morning walk. Once he’s home, he settles down on one of the various poofy dog beds scattered throughout the house for a long nap. In the afternoon, he hangs out near the window and watches the world go by outside. He always keeps his foster mom company as she goes about her day which she loves! Dinner is served around 7 PM and he enjoys some pieces of cheese mixed in with his kibble. In the evening, Lambchop snuggles with his foster mom on the couch until he is ready for bed. Lambchop currently lives with two dogs and they get along well. He has hordes of fans in the neighborhood, from adults and kids alike! He walks well on a leash. Lambchop’s dream home would be one ready to shower him in love as they work on his continued training. He has so much to show the world and we can’t wait to see all the adventures he embarks on.      Lambchop is only an option for homes who have prior experience owning a dog. Kids should be over the age of 7.January 9, 2025, 3:02 am

Story
Skipper  is happy and full of life. He loves to be active on hikes, walks, playing with toys, and running around in the backyard. He can also slow down and cuddle on the couch with you.   We’ve started training with him, and he would greatly benefit from a person who is committed to continuing his training and helping him progress.  He is stubborn, so training is key. Skipper would do best in an adult-only home. Energy Level?  Medium to High House trained?  Yes, 100%. He had never had an accident in the house. He routinely potties  about 15ish minutes after each meal. Describe how they are on leash?   Skipper  LOVES his walks. He does tend to pull, but we are working on it. Describe how they are with other dogs? Skipper would love to be the only dog in the home. Once Skipper is thoughtfully paired with the right dog and they play styles match, Skipper loves to play. Skipper's high energy play, can be much for some lower energy dogs. Have they been around cats or other animals? How were they?  He has not been introduced to cats. Commands they know?  Sit What are their favorite things?  Toys, cuddles, walks, wrestling with their human  What do they need to work on?  Polite dog behavior and walking without pulling. How are they when left alone? How long have they been left alone?  Skipper is left two -three times a week and he stays in an xpen for about 6 hours. He whines for a few minutes then sleeps most of the time and is mostly quiet. Where do they sleep?  In his xpen or crate What is their ideal home?  Skipper would thrive in an active home where he can get plenty of exercise. Ideally, he’d be the only dog, and he excels in an environment with clear structure and routine. We’ve started training with him, and he would greatly benefit from a person who is committed to continuing his training and helping him progress.  Skipper would do best in an adult-only home. Our Adoption fee is $325.   For adoption consideration or to meet our dogs , please complete our online application:   www.everypetsdream.org/adopt  and  we will have everything we need to know to call you back and set up an appointment.  Follow us:  Facebook  and  Instagram . Story
Daisy is 13 years old. Friends of ours moved for health reasons and were not able to take Daisy with them. Daisy is potty trained but is not able to hold for long. Since we are away from the home for 5 or 6 hours at a time, there are accidents. She is not able to make it through a night without going out. Daisy is a needy dog and whines to express her needs. We are in our 80's and are not able to walk with her for exercise and we live in a townhome without a yard. She would do better in a home where people are there most of the time.

Lumi was rescued from a local shelter. We don’t know how this gorgeous girl landed in the shelter but we know her next chapter will be nothing short of fabulous. Lumi weighs 18 pounds and has a soft, non-shedding coat. She is an option for those with allergies and will require regular grooming to maintain her gorgeous appearance. If you’ve been searching in the dark for your new bestie, let Lumi turn on the light!      Lumi is a super loving and adorably goofy Shih Tzu mix who will charm your pants off with a wink of her puppy dog eyes! She loves her cuddles and is always on the lookout for her next snuggle opportunity. Lumi is a total velcro dog who wants to follow you wherever you go! On a walk…. to the park… to the bathroom, you name it! Lumi is very smart as well and is adaptable to the schedule of her people, as long as she can take plenty of naps! Naps are key to the care and keeping of Miss Lumi. Our gal is a total couch potato and would be the perfect WFH companion for a day of Zoom calls. Lumi is easy going and will fit into just about any home. Her party trick? Giving hugs and showering you in kisses for hours at a time! Lumi can’t wait to join her forever home and show them how to slow down and enjoy the finer things in life with you!  Lumi wakes up around 8 AM, but is happy to sleep in as late as you’ll let her! After she goes out in the yard, she gets a quick walk before she’s served breakfast. About 90% of her day is spent lounging on her bed as she keeps an eye on her foster mom. Shih Tzu lovers will not be surprised to hear that! Lumi gets a walk again in the early evening before she has dinner at 5:30 PM. She spends her evenings in the family room with her foster people, soaking up all the cuddles and kisses they have for her. She goes out for one last potty and then heads to her crate for the night around 10:30 PM.  Lumi would prefer a home where she can be the solo object of your affection and adoration. She tends to stick close to her people, so she won’t be a great option for a home with a busy household. Lumi walks very well on the leash. She is working on her potty training and crate training. If you’re excited to bring some light and cheer into your holiday decorations, adopt Lumi today!      Lumi is an only option for homes who have owned a dog in the past. Kids should be over the age of 15.January 9, 2025, 3:02 am

Kringle was rescued from the shelter just before the holiday season began, with a matted coat and a need for love. We promised to give him the TLC he needed and whisked him to the groomer who gave him a brand new ‘do! Kringle weighs 11 pounds and has a gorgeous non-shedding coat. He will require regular grooming to ensure his coat stays fluffy and fabulous. Ready for some Christmas in January? Adopt Kringle!      Kringle is the happiest and most amazing dog on the planet. From his happy little dances to his love of snuggles, he lives every day to the fullest and brings light and laughter to every room he enters. Kringle loves all the finest things in life and discovered the couch quickly, especially the part where all the soft blankets are piled up. He just wants to be near his humans and show you how amazing he is. Kringle is super smart and picks up on things quickly, which makes him an amazing buddy for potential ongoing training. It’s hard to believe he’s an “older” pup because he loves to play and show off uis zoomies. Kringle loves his plush toys and is always down for a game of fetch or his favorite “flinging himself into the beanbag chair”. You will gain a new appreciation for the little things in life with how Kringle sees the world. That’s his promise to his new family!  Kringle wakes up around 8 AM… but he is happy to sleep in as late as you’ll let him! He does his happy dance when you come to let him out of his crate and lays down for a belly rub. He goes out first thing to potty and then comes inside for a nibble of breakfast (but he’s more of a brunch guy). Kringle spends his days romping around the backyard, cuddling on the couch with his humans, and generally being the best dog in the entire world! He gets dinner around 5:30 PM and eats at the same time as his humans, which he loves. For the rest of the evening, Kringle curls up on the couch and soaks up all the belly rubs and snuggles he can. He goes out one more time to potty before heading to bed around 10 PM.  Kringle has lived with other dogs and loves them! He has met humans from young to old and charmed them all from minute one. Kringle prefers backyard time but walks well when he goes out. He loves the car as well so he would be an amazing addition to any adventure! Whoever is lucky enough to adopt him will be the luckiest family in the entire universe!      Kringle is an option for any home, regardless of prior experience. Kids should be over the age of 5.January 9, 2025, 3:02 am
