Story
* Thank you for your interest in adopting a dog from Little Dog Rescue. Our dogs come from a variety of sources and backgrounds. They are all in need of adopters that have patience, an understanding of where these dogs have come from, and that there will be an adjustment time when they transition into their forever home. This can include learning basic commands, walking on leash and potty training. Some dogs will pick up on your routine and expectations faster than others. Potty accidents will happen. We find that positive reinforcement, consistency, and routine from the adopter achieves the best results. We are a small, all volunteers team and give 100% of our efforts towards doing right by these pups. We are often juggling many responsibilities at the same time and do our very best to process inquiries and applications in a timely manner. We do prioritize inquiries that have a submitted application on file through the Little Dog Rescue website. We do our best to accurately assign breed designations, however we are unable to guarantee 100% accuracy. Sometimes we only have the dogs appearance to go on. Our adoption fees are thoughtfully considered. The adoption fee is not a purchase price for the dog. It is a fee that is designed to support the overall work of our rescue. Highly desirable dogs and puppies are intentionally listed with a higher adoption fee. This is done to help offset the enormous medical expenses we incur when taking in older pups and special needs medical dogs whose adoption fees do not come close to covering their expenses. In addition, the vast majority of our dogs are brought in from out of state and incur transport fees along with their medical and acquisition costs. We ask that you take all of these things into consideration, and we look forward to finding a great match for your family. *Please note that adoptions for our adult dogs will occur after their scheduled Spay/Neuter surgeries.

Story
Meet Pepper Jack, the adorable Bichon Frise/Pekingese puppy who's as unique as his name! This sweet boy might be shy at first, like the quiet kid in class, but once he gets to know you, he's full of chatter and affection. Pepper Jack loves to wrestle with his siblings and play with toys that are much larger than he is, bringing a lot of fun to playtime. Pepper Jack is making good progress with potty training. He consistently uses the potty pad in his confined space and does well outside during routine bathroom breaks. He's still too small for leash training, but he prefers to go outdoors when possible. Pepper Jack sleeps in a small gated area with his siblings and gets along wonderfully with large dogs, small dogs, cats, and kids. This devoted and loving pup will stay right by your side, following you everywhere you go. His flexibility and readiness for anything make him a great companion. If you're searching for a gentle, snuggly, and loyal friend, Pepper Jack is the perfect addition to your family. Come meet this delightful pup at Little Dog Rescue and let him melt your heart with his sweet, shy charm! * Thank you for your interest in adopting a dog from Little Dog Rescue. Story
🐾 Hey there! I’m Marry! 🐾 I’m a 3-years-old male Poodle with a soft, white coat, weighing 9 kg. I was saved from a kill shelter just in time, and now I’m on the lookout for my forever family! 🏡 🐶 About Me: Super Affectionate: I love cuddles and will happily rub against you for pets. 💕 Friendly: I show my belly to everyone, even new friends, and I get along well with smaller dogs. 🐕 Calm and Relaxed: I enjoy outdoor activities but also love to chill quietly afterward. 🌳 Well-Mannered: I don’t guard my food and I’m good with both indoor pads and outdoor bathroom breaks. 🚽 Leash Skills: I might pull a bit, but I generally follow well. 🚶‍♂️ Cat-Friendly: Even when I see a cat, I stay focused on my human. 🐱 I’m currently in Seattle, living with another dog in my foster home, and doing great! If you’re looking for a loving, easygoing companion, I’m your guy! 🐩💖 Ready to Meet Me? If you think we could be a perfect match, please reach out! I can’t wait to find my forever family and shower them with love. 🥰 Love, Marry 🐾
