Rocky is a 1-year-old, 35-pound black mouth cur/retriever mix with a heart full of love and a playful spirit! This fun-loving, goofy pup is always ready for an adventure—whether it’s a game of fetch, tug-of-war, or simply zooming around with his favorite toys. His happy, friendly personality makes him a joy to have around.Rocky is a social butterfly who adores people and loves playing with the other foster dogs in his home. He would do well with a playful canine companion or would be just as happy soaking up all the love and attention as a solo pup. While he hasn’t met a cat yet, he’s a pretty easygoing guy, so we don’t anticipate it being an issue with proper introductions.This smart and eager-to-please boy has the perfect balance of puppy energy and good manners. He’s already mastered “sit” and “down” and is working on “roll over.” He’s a fetch pro, always ready for another round, and is learning to greet his favorite people with all four paws on the ground.Rocky is fully house-trained, sleeps quietly in his crate, and walks beautifully on a leash. He’s also a wonderful travel buddy—calm, curious, and always excited for a car ride. He handled his first bath like a champ, tolerated a blow-dry, and even enjoys being brushed.Rocky would thrive in an active, loving home where he can continue to learn, play, and be part of the family.
