Story
Hi there, it’s nice to meet you! I’m a happy girl with a happy personality, and of course, my name is Happy. I am a pretty 1-year-old Black Mouth Cur mix weighing 46 lbs, and I was dumped with a few other dogs and 7 newborn puppies way out in a field in… you guessed it… Texas. It’s an everyday occurrence, and bless our lucky stars when a lady spotted some of us and we led her to the puppies. Today, everyone is safe and sound, healthy and happy, vaccinated, and microchipped, and now that I'm spayed, I’m ready to find my future… hopefully not in Texas.
My foster mom says I’m a genuinely lovely girl, sweet as can be, friendly and gentle with every living creature: dogs, cats, kids, grownups, you name it. I’m completely loveable and have a signature “flop-onto-my-back-for-a-tummy-rub” maneuver that works every time, so needless to say, I love tummy rubs! I also love pets, cuddles, kisses, and gazing lovingly at you any time I see you. I greet all new people with a smile, a wagging tail, and an invitation to rub my tummy, and it makes everyone fall in love with me. I love to play, and I’m a very nice and gentle playmate with the little puppies, the big dogs, the seniors, boys and girls, it doesn't matter to me unless someone creates a ruckus; then I politely excuse myself and go elsewhere. I love doggy toys and chew bones, but please leave the soft toys behind because I will remove the stuffing to get to the squeaker. I have never barked, I’m already housebroken, I know how to use a doggy door, I’m well-behaved and well-adjusted, and I will make a wonderful family dog. From fun outdoor activities to snuggling beside you while we watch TV, I can fit in easily to any family situation. I know my future looks bright, and I hear the Eastern Seaboard is the place to be, so inquire about me today!
