Chulo is our (very limited vision) sweet Shar-pei mix. Chulo arrived after his owners were arrested and they had no other family to take him, so he was surrendered to the shelter. Chulo deserves a home that loves him and will provide the structure he needs to flourish. He was lucky enough to go into a foster home upon arrival. It was in this home that he showed his true personality of being a total love bug. We don't know if in his first home he was left alone crated for hours on end, but what we do know now is he feels lost when his people aren't near. Due to his inability to see, the interaction with other dogs is hard. In his foster home he had a few incidents with the resident dog; and it was due to this - he had to be returned, so he is currently back at the shelter. Chulo's ideal forever home is an adult home only, with structure and new experiences. There are so many adventures for him to participate in. I am Raine and I'm a sweet and silly girl! I'm a Black Mouth Cur who is 1 year & 3 months old and fully grown at 43 pounds. I'm very playful and wonderful with dogs, kids and CATS too! I love playing with other dogs and experiencing all the fun thing life has to offer. I just learned about pup cups which makes me very happy! I'm also a snuggle bug and love to take snoozes after play time. I can't wait to be part of my own loving family and would love a doggie sibling.
