Story
Bolt is a big ole country boy that needs space. He is a pandemic pup so really all he knew was family. He gets along well with our most other dogs as long as they aren't threatening. He is weary of new people and children. And doesn't like cats. He would probably do best in a home without kids and not a lot of guests coming and going. He has a lot of personality.Once he gets to know you, he is THE SWEETEST! Bolt is food driven, loves to play, loves to chase (squirrels, rodents, birds, lizards..)Will be a great hunting companion and would need some running around space. Loves belly rubs and outside time. He is crate trained and spends nights in his crate, which he likes.Takes time to get comfy with strangers otherwise, he's pretty fearless. He is house trained, crate trained, has many commands down (sit, come, stay, leave it, no jump, no bite, paw, down. drop it, on guard) and is very trainable. He is big, playful and full of energy and will be an amazing guard and protector. He will come with crate, training collar and muzzle (if needed). Along with food/water bowls and a bag of food.Included with adoption: Age-appropriate vaccinations, up to date heart-worm preventative, heart-worm test if over 6 months, microchip with registration, and spayed or neutered- if not already, a voucher is provided. If you are interested in adopting, please complete our Pre-application: https://form.jotform.us/asr628/ShortAdoptionInquiry

Story
Tato is a 4 year old, 55 lb Black Mouth Cur mix. If you aren't familiar with this wonderful breed, they are described as friendly, lively, loyal, active, energetic, playful, and bright. Tato loves to be outside in the backyard on nice weather days. It's so much fun to watch him literally kick up his heels as he runs zoomies around the backyard. Tato knows the "sit" and "come" commands, and learned the doggie door in two tries. He loves to chase a tennis ball, and will actually bring it back and drop it at your feet for another game of fetch. He gets along with other dogs, but he may annoy older, more sedate dogs. He has been around kids over the age of 10 and did just fine. He may be a little too enthusiastic for kids younger than 10. Tato is housebroken and crate trained. He needs a little more work on leash training, but only because he gets excited when he sees other dogs, and wants to go play with them! Foster mom says that you just can't find a sweeter, more loving dog than Tato. Please submit your application, and one of our adoption counselors will contact you.

Story
Hi! I'm Laredo and I am a distinguished gentleman of 4 years. Car rides with my people are my favorite thing.....I get so excited I become a wiggly puppy until my harness is on! I am excellent on a leash and enjoy sitting out at restaurants and breweries with my foster parents and letting everyone pet me. I've been told I am super cute and so well behaved! I also enjoy my time at boarding and love the attention from my human friends there. While I get along with most all dogs, and can cohabitate most of the time, I would be best as your only pet I do best when interactions are up to me, and I don't have to share the attention or toys. Definitely no kitties please, they remind me too much of the squirrels and rabbits I love to chase outside (I am part coonhound, after all). I have been through some basic doggie training, and with the help of my fosters have learned so much about being a great dog!! I am crate and potty trained too, so I would be great for any family. If you'd like to meet me, email info@habitat4paws.org.......I am patiently waiting!! Email info@habitat4paws.org for an application. **Because we require home visits, we only adopt locally to the Dallas/Fort Worth area. For more on adoption policies, please see the How it Works page of our website, www.habitat4paws.org.**

**COURTESY LISTING- THIS IS NOT AN EPIC DOG. PLEASE CONTACT CAN.ADOPTIONS@YAHOO.COM FOR MORE INFORMATION***   DAISY AND POPPY ARE BONDED SISTERS.  Both abandoned in the country.  Each girl has her own personality.  If you don't know much about this "breed" I can tell you they are great family dogs! DAISY is about one year of age, heartworm negative and on preventative, fully vetted and microchipped.  Both girls are very smart, but Daisy is especially so. Daisy will sit and watch the hummingbirds and watch for the squirrels!  We laughingly call Daisy the "good sister" because she is low key and wants to please you - obeying whatever you ask.  She and her sister are learning about toys and balls and enjoying having a loving foster home. For more information on adopting Poppy, please email Gail at  can.adoptions@yahoo.com .    August 15, 2024, 8:40 pm
