ADOPT ME ONLINE: https://ophrescue.org/dogs/14219Name: Magnolia BelleGender: FemaleBreed: BloodhoundAge: 3 years oldWeight: 70 lbsCurrent Location: Bel Air, MDAbout Magnolia BelleMeet Magnolia Belle, the most lovable, huggable Bloodhound you’ll ever come across! With her gorgeous face, soulful eyes, and long, velvety ears, this stunning girl is sure to turn heads wherever she goes. But it’s not just her looks—her personality is just as incredible!PersonalityMagnolia Belle is the perfect mix of mellow and playful. She’s up for any adventure but also knows how to kick back and relax. She’s got a heart of gold and is so adorably gentle. When meeting her foster family's dogs, she was a bit of a “sissy” at first—but within minutes, she was running and playing like she’d known them forever! She adores dogs of all sizes and only wants to play. Her style is gentler with smaller dogs, and a little Chihuahua can even chase her away—it’s hilarious to watch! She loves people and greets everyone eagerly. She loves hugs, and has learned to wait to be invited in for a big one. She is good with kids big and small - as long as they are aware that she is a big girl and not always conscious of her size. She is a big kid at heart and connects on their level.Energy LevelShe’s a laid-back queen but still has playful bursts of fun! Whether she’s collecting all the toys into her bed or soaking up attention from new friends, Magnolia Belle brings a mix of gentle energy and goofy charm to every moment.Fun Bloodhound FactBloodhounds are not big barkers! They only do their famous howl when on a scent. Her foster's other dogs bark more than she does, so don’t let the stereotype fool you!Favorite BehaviorsMagnolia Belle loves to carry her stuffies around when she’s ready to sleep. She gathers them all up and takes them to bed with her—it’s the cutest thing ever!Skills and Training✔ Leash work in progress – She pulled hard at transport but is learning!✔ Great in the car – Once she’s in, she rides beautifully (getting her in… well, that’s part of the adventure!)✔ Listens well – She stays close and doesn’t wander off.✔ Loves new experiences – She had a bath at Tractor Supply and handled it like a champ!CompanionshipMagnolia Belle is ready to be someone’s best friend for life. Whether you’re looking for a snuggle buddy, a walking partner, or a loyal companion who will shower you with kisses, she’s your girl.Love and AffectionThis sweetheart adores her people and isn’t shy about showing it! She’s affectionate, gentle, and always ready to share her love—preferably in the form of big, warm, full-body hound hugs.Included Veterinary Care:✔ Visit to veterinarian for health certificate✔ Up to date on vaccinations for her age✔ Spayed✔ Microchipped✔ Heartworm preventative✔ Flea & tick preventative✔ Worm/parasite treatmentsMagnolia Belle is stunning, sweet, and absolutely unforgettable. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. All of the animals posted on our site have been temperament tested. While not all are in the immediate area, once we have processed and approved your application, we will move the dog to our adoptive area for you to meet, greet and hopefully adopt. Sometimes we will have more than one application on a dog. That does not mean it automatically goes to another family but you should be aware of the fact that until you are approved and set up for the meet/greet.. the dog could get adopted by another applicant. If you are looking for a good, larger, sturdy girl, you have found her in Pattie. She has also been shown to be friendly to other dogs. Pattie wants to please and at barely only 2 years old, she is still a young dog and ready to learn what you want her to know. She would do especially well with an active outdoorsy person or family, but can't be in a home with small children. She would be a perfect companion for hiking, camping, exploring.  Since Patti is still very young and not had all the opportunities to learn as a puppy she needs training to help learn proper behaviors. She needs a family that will work with her and teach her how to be a great companion. You will get to teach her just what you want her to know!We have made sure she has all her shots and she is ready to prance right into your house and heart.NOTE:  Pattie will need a 6 ft fence to keep her safe.  We have done a DNA on her and she is mostly Bloodhound and Siberian Husky, which makes her VERY smart, but also wanting to follow her nose when some exciting scent comes along.  Hence, a tall or unclimable  fence.  SO many wonderful possibilities with this bright girl! If you are interested in Pattie, please fill out an application at: https://reachoutrescue.rescuegroups.org/forms/form?formid=4588    Or contact: rorrcanine@gmail.com   *** Click here to sponsor this dog! ***Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.January 11, 2025, 10:36 am
