Story
PLEASE NOTE! Unless stated otherwise, our dogs and puppies are located in Arkansas, and transported to the north/northeast once adopted. We do occasionally have dogs/puppies placed in foster homes in the north/northeast. In the cases where the pet is somewhere other than Arkansas, it will be noted beside the name of the pet.Scooter (she's a girl!) She was found on April 11th as a stray. Despite all efforts to find an owner, no one has come forward to claim this beautiful girl. The vet listed as a blue lacy mix. She is a an estimated 1 1/2 years old and 48 lb.She definitely seems to be a hunting dog! She is obsessed with squirrels. She does have a high prey drive. She is around cats on a daily basis. The nonchalant slower cats she is perfect with. If they are young or scared cats that like to run she will chase them. But she doesn't do anything to them once she catches up to them. She has done well with other dogs, and she adores kids. She lights up when kids come to visit!I thought she was deaf at first because she would not come to any type of whistle, clapping, or kissing noises. But we later realized that I just don't think anyone had ever called her over to them for attention. She has decided she loves all the attention and has proved to be super smart, super loyal and very eager to please. House trained, can sit and shake, kennel trained. Fully vetted. Located in Arkansas, but transport is available. Adopter must be able to pick up or arrange for someone to pick up for them at one of the following times/locations.
