Story
Hunter is a 8-9 year old purebred English American coon hound that suffers from anxiety. After he was bit by a dog about 5 years ago he developed tenderness in the back right hind quarters. He absolutely dislikes getting his nails cut and ears cleaned so he requires sedation to go to the vets office for this procedures. He's snapped at me while doing his nails and unfortunately has bit and scratched my wife while she was shoo-ing him away from my young daughters' dropped food. Outside of that he is an incredibly smart and loyal dog that loves car rides and open fields. He's got about 30ish command he listens to and is extremely food motivated. As a typical hound he eats just about anything with a few dietary restrictions (beef and lamb). He's not good with small dogs, cats, or anything thats presented like prey but does routinely go to a doggy day camp where he runs with the "hounds" all day without incident. He is slightly territorial as any old man is and doesn't like to huddle up.

Story
Kip is an 8 year old blue tick coonhound! We've been together across the country since he was 8 weeks old. He's well behaved, house trained and a huge couch potato. He sustained a leg injury a few years ago so he is unable to run or walk really long distances. A mile or less per day is his max. I've taken him on hikes a little longer than that on rough terrain and it takes him a few days to recover. He loves laying in the sun, sniffing all of the sniffs in the neighborhood. He's OK with other dogs, usually more interested in the human. Definitely does not like labs or golden retrievers and not sure why. He doesnt bark often, but when he does it is loud. My life has changed pretty dramatically in the last few months and I'm no longer able to give him the attention he needs. Would be great to place him in the city with an enclosed yard where he could lay in the sun or outside the city. Happy to transport him to the right home in the tri-state area.

If you are interested in a puppy please let us know.we are only charging $350 instead of $450 since they will have to be spayed/neutered.
