Story
Four kittens, Gandolf, Georgia, Ghost and Gremlin were all found as young stray baby kittens. They are safe, healthy an warm now and being cared for by a loving foster mom.  All are sweet and loveable. They will be an amazing addition to any family. If you are interested in adopting, please go to straylovefoundation.org and fill out an adoption application. Each of our rescues will be COMPLETELY vetted (which includes a combo test, worming, spay/neutered, vaccines, and micro-chipping). We do all in our power to assure our rescues are as healthy as possible and live a long happy life. There is always a chance that an animal we have rescued will have a genetic health issue (since they are rescues there is no way that we can know their family history) or one of our tests falls in that low percentage of false-negative category or a they contract a rare disease that we have no way of knowing about or they contract under your care. We cannot guarantee 100% that your pet will live the 15 to 20 years we hope for but with all that we do for them, the chances are incredibly strong that they will. Transportation fees, when applicable, vary by distance/expense. Home checks may be conducted. We are asking for an adoption donation of $148. On most animals, a tax-deductible adoption donation of $148 is required upon approved adoption application. (This is a fraction of our vet expenses and you are always welcome to donate more.) HOWEVER, when we rescue a special breed, ridiculously adorable, or unusual color, we ask for a higher donation which helps towards our vet expenses. If you can't adopt, donate or sponsor, if you can't donate, volunteer! Tax-deductible donations can be made via PayPal using our email address: info@straylovefoundation.org. Or you can click on the donate button on our FB page (StrayLoveFoundation Magnolia Springs) or click on the donate button on our website home page at www.straylovefoundation.org. Story
My husband & I have had Cleo since she was a few weeks old, along with her brother, Theo. She is such a loving & cuddly cat. We have had her for about 6 years now. Since we now have a son who is 1 year old, we are unable to give her the attention that she always craves. We are also concerned that our son might be allergic to our cats. She has been an indoor cat her entire life & is litter box trained. Unfortunately, we never broke the walking on tables & counters habit so please keep this in mind! She does great with our dog who is a basset hound but that is because they grew up together from when they were both tiny. If you have a dog it might take her a little while to get used to them. She will lay in bed with you or in your lap for the entire day if you let her! We are looking for a very loving new family for her. She is a very calm & laid back cat who needs someone who can love on her more than we are able to.

Story
Yo-yo is a sweet mellow gal who is enjoying being safe and fed regularly. She was found as a stray living at an apartment complex with her 3 kittens. She was a great mommy cat. She took care of her babies even tho she herself had very little food. She has a shinny coat and has put on some weight now. Yo-yo enjoys canned food daily and relaxing in a soft bed. She has the brightest radiant yellow eyes..

Story
LUNAR is a sweet, social 8 year old neutered male.  He’s a lover, not a fighter. If you’re looking for a snuggle bug, he’s the cat for you! The way to his heart is with French fries and catnip! His Owner died unfortunately, so he and 3 sidekicks are currently living at Duke Animal Clinic. Such a shame, and honestly, middle aged cats are AMAZING. PLEASE consider scheduling a meet and greet for any of these sweethearts! Tested negative for Leukemia/FIV and shots are current. Also see Ming, Stella and Toby Toebeans. FOREVER return policy, FEE LIKELY WAIVED BY DR. DUKE.  THEY CAN DOG TEST IF NEEDED. I BELIEVE THE CATS LIVED WITH A DOG BEFORE. Story
We got a call from the "library ladies" regarding a very sweet stray black cat that they were sure was pregnant.  After a visit we determined that she was not pregnant but already nursing her kittens.  They were finally found and after some shenanigans on Alice's part, we got them all.  Even daddy hung around.  His name is Lancelot. All are black incuding the 4 babies - 3 boys and one girl. It was amazing but from the get-go they were not afraid of the volunteer that found and visited them.  They were curious but not afraid.  Now Mama, Daddy, kittens (Able, Afro, Alley and Astro) are all up for adoption.  Six beautiful house panthers. If you are interested in adopting, please go to straylovefoundation.org and fill out an adoption application Each of our rescues will be COMPLETELY vetted (which includes a combo test, often a parvo test, worming, spay/neutered, vaccines, and micro-chipping).
