Riggs is a 6-year-old cannonball of love. Her heart is as big as her hips, and that’s saying a lot. She is on the hefty side, about 19-21lbs, but that has not stopped her from jumping up onto whatever surface she can find. She enjoys laying in the window and looking outside. Shes not a huge fan of the outside itself, she just likes looking at it from behind the protection of her window. In her current living space, she doesn’t have a lot of room to run which has contributed to her weight, but she loves to play and given the space would run circles around her human. She does best when she is around someone else. Her sister sadly passed away in June 2022 and she has been in need of a friend ever since. She is independent, but has bouts of codependency and separation anxiety, having grown up with her sister and never knowing what it’s like to be alone. Riggs has a lot of love to give. She is very well behaved and has not once bit, scratched, or hissed in 6 years.

I am a gorgeous black cat who loves people, most of the time! I had a rough few years on the street but now I’m safe and secure and awaiting my forever home. I can be dominant with other cats. In fact I was kicked out of a Cat Cafe! Can you believe it! The nerve! I can be paired with a non dominant cat or kitten. I currently room with another easy going boy and we are besties. Because I don’t always appreciate pets or belly rubs the humans suggest no children under 12. I do have scars from previous injuries but they don’t detract from my cute Bombay looking self. PS. Salem is the most sweetest little boy I have ever met! He is a few months old and the most loving and affectionate cat you will ever meet. All he wants to do is lay with you or on top of you. And when he’s not doing that he’s hungry for food. I got him through the shelter with a bit of an eye problem as you can see in the pictures and have been working on it but doctors say he’s not in pain so that’s good. He’s great with both of my dogs as long as the dogs are not on top of him always but he actually loves my bigger dog Odin. I unfortunately cannot keep him any longer due to moving and the amount of pets I already have the adoption fee is 50 but I’m willing to go lower as long as he goes to a good home.
