Story
Frankie is a 8-9 year old cat who was rescued about 3 years ago from a shelter in Ohio as a solo cat. We have since moved to NJ to a home with additional cats and he has struggled with aggression and territorial issues since the move. The house also has a dog who he largely just stays away from. Frankie is a very loving and snuggly cat who wants to be loved by all people he meets. He will play for as long as you’d like, and his favorite toys are basic strings. He will inevitably zoom every night around 9:30 and then snuggle into bed right by your side. He is truly a kitten at heart who just needs a caring home where he gets to be the only cat.

Story
Honey Bear is available with his sister Ramona. We weren't sure if they would lose their eyes but their foster did a great job with their medications. As most of you know the corneal scarring does not hold them back at all. To meet them, please apply at https://linktr.ee/nyctfa

Story
Violet, also know as Vio, is a Covid rescue. She is a loving and caring girl, who definitely loves her head rubs and face scratches. She will let definitely let you know when she’s hungry and wants attention, but otherwise she’s is very calm and will lay right next to you whenever she just wants company. She has a big thing for arms, so if you ever have it out (especially in bed) she will lay right on top of it and you’ll be stuck there until she’s ready to move (unless of course you need to get up). She is not violent and barely ever hisses or swats and will mostly meow if you’ve held or picked her up for too long. She had some anxiety, but once she warms up to you, you’ll be able to see how comfortable she can get in her space. Unknown if she gets along with other cats or dogs.

Story
2Cosmo (black male) and Luna (gray female) are the most gentle, sweetest fur babies ever! They love being pet and push their faces into your hand for more, all while purring very loudly! They were being fostered in a family with 2 young children and are very easy going with them. They love to play with toy mice and then snuggle with their foster family and each other. These bonded kitties were rescued from a street colony in Gerritsen Beach where most of them are friendly and obviously dumped.  Both kitties are spayed and neutered and up to date on vaccines. Cosmo is positive for felv and negative for fiv. Luna is negative for felv/fiv and vaccinated against felv. We just could've separate these 2, so Luna will need felv vaccines every year in order to stay with her boyfriend. If you'd like to meet these 2 beautiful sweethearts please complete our online application here https://brooklynanimalaction.org/adoption-forms/ and write Tara as their rescuer.  Thank you for thinking of a rescue animal in need of a loving home! Adopting one animal will help to open space for future furry-friends dreaming of forever homes! All Brooklyn Animal Action cats and dogs are available to adopt, foster and foster-to-adopt. Story
Meet cute little brothers Siggy and Mac! Siggy is super sweet and spirited. He chases bugs and plays constantly with stuffed mice. He loves stretching out and having his tummy rubbed. Mac is shyer and very sweet. He’s slightly bigger and very attached to his brother. He pretends not to like being held but he starts purring the second you pick him up! Sigmund and Mackerel are both healthy eaters, have excellent litter box habits and adore other kitties. When they are not busy playing and tussling together, they are constantly snuggled with each other. They are mostly all black, but each of them has a white smiley face patch on their tummies. And Sigmund has one white toe! These sweethearts neutered, tested fiv-/felv-, are up to date on their vaccines, microchipped and are ready for their new home! If you would like to schedule a meet & greet, please go to our application here: https://brooklynanimalaction.org/adoption-forms/. Make sure you click on the name of the cat, then identify the RESCUER and fill out the form! Thank you for thinking of a rescued angel. Every dime goes to saving the next homeless angel on the street! August 19, 2024, 6:28 pm
