Story
Electra, a female shorthair black young adult, is a part of our group called The Constellations. She was brought indoors after having a litter of kittens, so that they could grow up safely in our care. She is a bonded pair with her sister, Electra, and together the two have raised their babies together. They even nursed and groomed them all. :) We estimate her birth month to be December 2021.   Electra is the shy one -- she is still a protective mama learning to fully trust humans. When you walk in the room, she might be hidden or attempt to hide, but if you sit with her, she'll come out chirp and ask for pets. She will follow Maia's lead. The more she trusts you, the more she'll sit beside you -- she craves affection, she's just cautious. She likes to lounge and take long naps when her babies don't need her, and likes bird watching with the windows open.  She has had exposure to other cats, toddlers & school aged children and does well around all. She is required to go home with her bonded sister, Maia. We believe they will make excellent pets -- and we have a very special place in our heart for our mamas that worked so hard to raise their babies. We are confident their purrfect family is out there -- and will give these two sweethearts the love, patience and life of luxury they deserve.  As a bonded pair, their rate is discounted to $300.  Electra  has started her vaccinations (Fel/FeLV negative and vaccinated, FVRCP and rabies),  has been spayed, microchipped, and received her 1-year rabies vaccine. Story
My sweet baby girl, Cleopatra, was adopted by me in 2012 shortly after my husband died (Army). She will be 12yrs old this month, & she had been around very big dogs for the first 8yrs of her life before the last of my dogs passed away. I had to relocate to Jacksonville, NC last summer for work, and was only able to find a place for her to be fostered. Unfortunately, where I live, I cannot have her, and her foster family is now moving. She is a sweet heart of a cat, she is very loving and snuggly, but the past year has her somewhat scared of busy little kids. She really wants to just be loved, snuggled, and lay in the sunshine for the rest of her days. It is breaking my heart to have to give her away, but she deserves a good home, and to finish her days happily. Please know, she isn't overly fond of small, yappy dogs, or grabby little kids. She is a talkative cat and has an affinity for being center of attention. Please give my Cleo-kitty; a good happy home.
