Story
We took Olive in late October when she showed up in our friends backyard, malnourished. They attempted to find her owner to no avail. Now that she has been nursed back to health, it has become clear that our busy lifestyle is not ideal for her needs. She is such a gentle, kind, loving cat, but she wants human interaction constantly. She is a lap cat and cries when left alone, even when in the house. We are in a very busy stage of life with jobs and two kids and think she would be better served by retirees or someone who has more capacity to spend time with her. She’s so loving and sweet, it just breaks our hearts that she wants more of us than we can give.

Story
Romeo is approx 4-5 years old. He’s a lovely cat that seems to prefer to be alone vs with other cats. Unless it’s a kitten. I don’t have the space to accommodate him anymore.

Story
I recently found Happy as a stray kitten a couple months ago and decided to bring him inside because it was starting to get cold outside. Unfortunately, my mother is extremely allergic to cats and she is developing respiratory issues so I am trying to find a new home for him. The vet says he is in perfect health and is probably around 7 months old. He barely sheds so his grooming is low maintenance. He is very playful and affectionate. It takes him awhile to warm up to new people, but is highly motivated by food so it does not take long to win him over. He likes to play with the laser pointer, spring toys, and feather wand. He also enjoys bird watching out the window or on YouTube. He loves to be petted and snuggle up with people. He is highly food motivated and pretty clever. He is a very fun-loving cat and needs a forever home!

Story
Bonnie and Clyde were found by the staff at a doctors office in Wilmington, NC- just hanging around begging for food. Seems thier mom had dropped them under a car there for safe keeping, but didn't come back. One of the staff members scooped them up an called us. Clyde was adopted as a kitten, but turned in to a shelter years later. They said they took in an elderly family member who is allergic to cats. We wish they would have called us first, per our adoption agreement, but Clyde is now safe in foster care. As it turned out, Clyde had a massive struvite stone in his bladder and was peeing blood. We had the stone removed and he must now remain on a prescription urinary diet for the rest of his life. He has NEVER peed outside the box. An adopter must be willing to spend the money for his food and understand it is the only preventative solution.  All cats and kittens from Feline Matchmakers Inc. have age appropriate vaccinations, are fixed, tested for communicable diseases, fleas, worms, parasites and are microchipped. An application and home visit are required. Contact felinematchmakers@hotmail.com and give us your phone number for a chat. Applications at felinematchmakers.org ##837940##

Story
Please contact foster at lashleydunc11@aol.comBubbles has been in and out of the shelter since kittenhood through no fault of her own. And this last time she came back injured! So we are hoping to make sure this next home is her forever. She is a princess and she deserves it.She is dog tolerant but absolutely adores other cats! She hasn`t met a cat she didn`t like (even if they didn`t like her back). In fact, she needs a home with at least one playful kitty companion. When without a friend to play with, she makes her own fun in testing gravity with everything you don`t want tested against it. She can also be a door dasher if missing a friend. There is a true night and day difference in personality when she is a single kitty vs has a friend. This quirky and cuddly girl is BEYOND ready for her own family.Bubbles looks forward to hearing from you!
