Story
Meet Pantera! Pantera is a sweet, affectionate kitty who absolutely loves people. He likes his “big brother” role with his foster family and is first to investigate to make sure things are safe for the younger kittens. With that sense of adventure comes confidence! Pantera’s confident and affectionate nature makes him an ideal companion for both experienced cat owners and those new to the world of feline friendship. He is the kind of cat who will gently crawl into your lap for the sweetest cuddles, making you feel like the most loved person in the world. Pantera currently lives with other cats, a large cat-friendly dog, and puppies. We believe Pantera’s confidence will help him adapt to most homes, wether they contain cats, cat-friendly kids, or cat-friendly dogs. Whether you’re a singleton looking for a loyal companion or a family ready to welcome a loving new member, Pantera is the perfect fit. If you’re ready for endless love and cuddles, Pantera is ready for you! Application: https://adopt.animalsfirst.com/animal/62cc8e128b02916730334440/676e0d7ff7670503c10f087d Questions? Why adopt from Three Little Pitties? The stray and animal overpopulation in the Greater Houston area is the highest in the nation. Statistics show that there are over 1 million homeless animals in this region alone. Three Little Pitties Rescue is a nonprofit dog and cat rescue that partners with the community to make a difference. Our mission is to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and saving all breeds of dogs and cats from the streets or animal shelters that oftentimes have no other option but to euthanize animals for space. This kitty you’ve found online is lucky to be in our program, and even luckier to have you notice it! Three Little Pitties Rescue (3LP) wants to set you and your new family member up for success! In addition to a fully vetted furbaby you also receive other additional perks such as a code for a free bag of cat litter AND a code for 50% off a 2nd bag of litter from Catalyst Pet, coupons for a fun visit to Petco, and support through our Facebook Adopters group where you can connect with thousands of other adopters, 3LP volunteers, fosters and staff. We seek to adopt to families who understand that these are rescues and will require continued efforts but are well on their way to being the best kitties that they can be! We ask that you give them time (can take weeks to months) to decompress in their new home, do slow introductions to other pets and let their true personalities have a chance to come through. We celebrated our 6 year anniversary this year! Through the combined efforts of all of our hardworking staff and volunteers, we have placed over 14,000 very lucky dogs and cats into amazing homes! By adopting from us, you save TWO lives! The pet you adopt, and you create an opportunity for another animal to be saved in that spot. Together, we can be heroes. Story
MEET SAGE <3 "Hi, my name is Sage. I'm what my foster mom calls "a velcro cat". I like to be around you, follow you, gets pets, and be on your lap. I can't sit still for very long though... I get the wiggles and have to be in constant motion. I get along with other cats with a slow introduction but mainly keep my distance. If you get too close, I might bop you on the head. My foster mom doesn't have any dogs or children, but I think I would like them both. I've aged well and at 11 years old. I'm pretty tiny and petite, but I'm a good eater and am constantly hungry. I look like an older kitten. I even have a little crook in my tail and a little trot or bounce in my step. My age does show in my fur though. I'm all black with gray hairs (OH NO!) throughout and a tiny white bib. I'm a good girl. I don't get on counters or furniture. I require a clean litter box and chin/head scratches. I love wand toys and crinkle balls and to hide in cat tunnels. But my all time favorite thing to do is sunbathe and nap. Wherever the rays come into the room you will find me there for sure. I would love a home where I can be cute little me."
