If you do not receive an email from us, please check your spam/junk folder. Drano was only 3 months old when someone dumped him in a parking lot. After living through a blizzard by hiding in a storm drain, he was caught and has been trying to remember that humans are not as scary as he thinks since then. Drano is looking for a quiet, patient home. In small spaces, Drano loves pets and snuggles, arching up into scratches and purring on your lap. But in larger spaces, he’s still very nervous of people. He never lashes out, never bites or scratches, but it breaks you heart how he can be so scared of being hurt. With time and patience, Drano will be a loving, sweet, happy member of the right family. A single person, or couple, who is willing to give him time to adjust and teach him that humans aren’t all as scary as the people who dumped him on the curb in the cold. He does love other cats, and plays with the others happily. The first step is to complete the cat adoption application below. Symbiotic Inc. has a required minimum $150 adoption donation. If you are adopting two cats at once, it is a total of $250. (it is tax deductible!) All cats are spayed or neutered, microchipped, and up-to-date on all needed health care before adoption is finalized. We require a meet and greet with all potential adopters, a home visit and a vet reference (if applicable). If you are interested in adopting please visit our website to find our adoptions standards and a link to our cat adoption questionnaire. https://symbioticinc.org/adoption-application

Story
Momo is 8 years old. Mo loves to cuddle (on his terms) and will almost always lay between your legs. He loves to be around people. He can play a little rough but he’s very friendly. He has a penguin toy he’s had since he was a few weeks old, he’s very attached to it. He doesnt have any medical issues. The only issue Ive ever had with Momo is that he plays rough, and for me (and only me for some reason) that means he looks at my ankles as prey. He would scare me if I came around a corner and would usually get a good bite or scratch in. He’s never hissing or vicious, but I was never able to enforce the boundary of him not biting me. I want to make sure his new home is loving and patient because he is a loving and sweet cat but also can accidentally hurt people with a quick bite. The response to that cannot be violence towards him. We are looking to rehome him due to my mental health and our new living situation. Overall he’s a great cat with lots of personality and love.

Story
Navi was rescued from the naval base at 6 weeks old. She grew up with cats and dogs and is now 1.5 years old. She's VERY playful but does like to snuggle when she's worn out. She has never had an accident and will do tricks for squeezy treats (I was able to train her to sit). She is curious about everything like sitting on the counter while we wash dishes, hopping into new boxes, and exploring cabinets and closets she never gets to see.Our favorite thing about her is that she greets us at the door when we get home and has crawled up a leg to sit on the shoulder of her favorite person. She will come with all toys, food, litter, and her own litter box if needed. She truly is a gem, and we are sad to have to say goodbye. Unfortunately our older cats have never adjusted to her, despite her strong desire to play with them. Ideally, she deserves a playmate (feline or human) that can match her energy. We just want the best home for her.
