Story
Charity is an engaging girl with a happy, lively attitude. Although not one for sitting still, she does know her sit command and also walks well on leash. She is eager to learn more and earn those training treats! After all, she loves you and she wants to please you! Yes, Charity is looking for an active partner and fast friend. She gets along with most dogs, but any dog friend needs to understand that she plays rough and loud. Charity shows signs of being housetrained, so she is ready to come right into your home and brighten your life.  ***Our pups don't tell us who their parents are - BREED is a GUESS*** ~ Est DOB: Mar 2023~ Intake weight: 48#~ Adoption details/application: calhouncountyhs.blogspot.com/p/adopt.htmlAugust 16, 2024, 9:26 pm

Story
This very sweet and energetic girl came to us covered in ticks and sores. There were ticks coming off her for DAYS. She was given a capstar and her sores were treated and she says she is good to go now! She is a little ball of energy and loves to play! She gets the zoomies like there's no tomorrow. She’s around 10 months old and is a medium sized collie mix. She would do great in an active household or on a farm with a job to do! Come meet our girl and fall in love!

Story
Josie is a 3 year old border collie aussie mix. She is a fuly deaf - partially blind double merle. She is a high energy dog who needs a lot of excercise and attention. She is a natural fetcher, with balls being the only toy she wants to play with. She also loves going on hikes, runs, and walks. She also loves playing in water! She will only cuddle when she is worn out, but she is a velcro dog and loves laying right next to her person when she rests. Josie needs a home with no other pets and no younger children (teenage and adult are okay). She needs a home where she will get plenty of excercise and time outside (she is not a cuddle lap dog).

Story
Need to rehome older dog. Deserves to live inside of house and get lots of love and attention and go for long walks. Still has so much life ahead of him - living in backyard barely getting any attention and walks is just not for him. He was house trained but may need to be retrained. Loves to hang out anywhere his humans are. Enjoys walking, can take him on 10 walks and he'll still be enthusiastic. Loves hikes. Should be only dog "child" or paired with a dog with similar temperament. Preferably a family that's active and outdoors. That can give him love and attention throughout the day.

Story
This is Walker, a Border Collie mix.  He’s around 3 years old and weighs between 45 and 50 pounds.  If you look closely at him, you’ll see his heart in his eyes.  That’s because he is a true lover and an old soul, despite his young age. Walker wears a medium length, white and black coat which suits him well. In addition to his good looks, this boy is also a dog of great temperament; he gets along well with other dogs, kids and his foster’s cat.  Walker would be a fine family dog.  (posted 3/21/24, TN)    **It is rare that we know with certainty the ages or mixes that make up our dogs, but we do our best to be as accurate as possible based upon our experience. ** Adoption: $395 which covers quarantine, shots, worming, medical records, spaying/neutering, microchip and an Alabama State Health Certificate.   Transport, if needed  $160   We consider the transport to be of great importance and, as such, take particular care of the dogs during the trip . We make every effort to arrive with healthy and minimally stressed dogs.  August 18, 2024, 2:19 pm
