Story
Dex is a handsome floof with a world-class head tilt and spectacular smile! He loves his outdoor romps and likes to chase toys. Bring them back? Not so much - but he's learning. Dex likes to have a person around more often then not, making him a perfect work-from-home friend. He prefers his dog friends be of the 'hanging out together' variety, not the 'in your face' variety.  ***Our pups don't tell us who their parents are - BREED is a GUESS*** ~  Est DOB:  Feb 2021 ~  Intake weight:  38#  ~  Adoption details:  calhouncountyhs.blogspot.com/p/adopt.htmlAugust 16, 2024, 9:26 pm

Story
Romeo is not just dreamy to look at, he has a lovely heart. This sweet guy is happy to cuddle the day away. He also enjoys a good meander around the yard or house. He isn't looking for crazy play sessions, but he might enjoy some training games if food is involved. He is fine with other pups and shows signs of being housetrained.  ***Our pups don't tell us who their parents are - BREED is a GUESS*** ~  Est DOB:  Feb 2020 ~  Intake weight:  50#  ~  Adoption details:  calhouncountyhs.blogspot.com/p/adopt.htmlAugust 16, 2024, 9:26 pm

Story
Missy is a 1 year old Australian Shepherd mix, and is so soft inside and out. Her silky fur and golden eyes are both striking features of this gorgeous girl! She came in to the shelter with her sister MacKenzie, and they currently live in the same pen. They get along very well, and can be adopted together or separately. Missy is a little shyer than her sister, but warms up to new people after a short while. Soft treats and pets are good ways to her heart. Missy is also a little unsure about the leash when it is first being put on her, but she walks very well once she is on the leash. After just a couple walks together, she is already learning that the leash is a wonderful thing! It’s clear that Missy is a smart girl, and would love to learn more in her new home. Could that be with you? Be sure to meet this sweet girl and find out!  The adoption fee covers the following: spay or neuter surgery; one-year rabies vaccine; feline or canine distemper vaccine; heartworm test (dogs) or combo (fiv/felv) test (cats); deworming; and microchip. Story
MacKenzie is a 1 year old female Australian Shepherd mix, and is such a sweetheart! She came in to the shelter with her sister Missy, and they are currently living in the same pen together. They get along very well, and can be adopted together or separately. MacKenzie is a little shy, although she is often the first of the two dogs to greet new people. Just like her sister, soft treats and pets are good ways to her heart! MacKenzie walks very well on a leash, and seems to enjoy going at the pace that you set. When she is in the park, she likes playing with squeaky toys but seems to prefer snuggles and staying near where you are. MacKenzie has quickly learned that a leash means a fun walk, and she already walks well on one. Mackenzie is such a sweet girl, and is sure to love her new family with all of her heart. Be sure to meet this beautiful girl soon! The adoption fee covers the following: spay or neuter surgery; one-year rabies vaccine; feline or canine distemper vaccine; heartworm test (dogs) or combo (fiv/felv) test (cats); deworming; and microchip.
