Meet Elsa, this sweet girl is on the search for her forever home. Elsa has recently undergone FHO surgery (femoral head ostectomy) on her leg due to an injury that didn't receive medical attention quickly enough. Despite the challenges, she has made a fantastic recovery and is now ready to find a loving family.Elsa loves to be near her people. She's more than happy to lounge and relax with you, no matter the activity level. She is still learning house manners, like staying off the furniture and avoiding counter surfing but luckily, she is very smart and has picked up on this quickly.Elsa absolutely LOVES to play! Although her playtime has been low-key during her rehabilitation, she's now ready to have some fun. Fetch is one of her favorite games, though she's still working on the "bring it back" part. She also enjoys going for walks and has excellent leash manners.Elsa is a gentle and friendly pup who enjoys meeting new people. While she's a bit shy with other dogs, she's curious and willing to meet them at her own pace as long as they are respectful and gentle.Elsa is looking for a loving home where she can continue to thrive. Her new family will need to be committed to continuing her rehabilitation and recovery from surgery to ensure she remains happy and healthy.
