I need to get rid of her ASAP, I don’t want to have to take her to a shelter. I wanted a dog and she had no where else to go so I adopted her. She has some social anxiety and she loves to be outside I just dont have the time or space for her. I recently had a baby and I just hate to not be able to give her the life she needs. Lucky may not be like our usual GLAR recruits (as in tiny, and often of the chihuahua variety ) but we are so glad to help her just the same. One of our fantastic volunteers has been fostering her alone without the help of a rescue, and needs more help making sure Lucky is seen! Lucky is 7 months old, weighs approximately 30lbs, and has all the zest for life (think Buddy the Elf ). She is some sort of Border Collie mix and is beautiful! She has all the puppy energy and needs a job. (As a result, we will only consider applicants who have experience with working breeds, and those who can provide a plan to help ensure Lucky’s needs will be met.) Lucky is fully vaccinated and will be microchipped and spayed prior to adoption. She is anxiously awaiting her forever person to form that special bond. Vixen (or Harlow, her legal name), is a sweetheart and is loved by my family. She loves children and snuggles. She does not get along with other dogs though and my neighbor is not friendly with this. We need to remove her because my neighbor will cuss out me and my kids if we are outside with Vixen because of her barks. I have reported to authorities, especially because he would do this to children, but they cannot do anything because he never actually laid a finger on anyone. She really doesn't bark a lot, its just my neighbor doesn't want her barking at him or his dog (although his dog barks, too). Vixen is a protector but loves people once they show that they are not a threat. She is housetrained but when she is away (while we're on vacation), she needs extra attention and may have an accident. She is an adventurer and loves going camping and going on hikes. She's been camping all over So Cal and we'd love her to go to a family/person who can take her on hikes/trips.
