Story
Lucy is a great 11YO Collie adopted when she was a pup from a shelter in the Dominican Republic. Lucy has had a great life w/her owner, but unfortunately her owner has been hospitalized &recently passed away. She a very sweet dog, loves to walk & is friendly towards other dogs. Lucy attended doggy-daycare a few times a month. However, Lucy is not a big fan of cats, I would not recommend she goes into a home w/cats. She is mostly an inside dog (i.e. sleeping inside) &has been home alone many hours a day. As the only care-giver, I can only go to her 2x daily. The travel for me is about 100 miles round trip to take her out and feed her. I have a dog &4 cats, so having her at my home is not an option. Ive reached out to other family/friends but have not been successful of placement. I dont want to take her to a facility that would put her down because of her age. She does have a medium size fatty deposit on her underside near her front right leg. Contact me w/any questions. Thanks

Story
This puppy has just arrived! They have come to us on transport from a shelter partner, were found as stray, or surrendered to our care by an owner. Puppies require a significant amount of structure, routine, time, patience, and training to learn how to behave properly in a home. The first few months of having a puppy is a critical time to establish boundaries and help your puppy understand what they can expect from you and what you expect from them. Remember, puppies aren't born knowing how to live in a human's world, it is up to you to teach them how to make good decisions in a positive and caring manner. The more positive interactions they have in their first year of life will set them up for better behavior in the future. If you are interested in adopting this dog, please submit an adoption questionnaire! Our adoption process is on a first-come, best-match basis and we are not able to hold animals. If you are interested in this specific dog but it ends up not being the best fit upon meeting, our adoption counselors will work with you to help find a match! All household members, including children and other dogs, must come along for the meeting to make sure it's a good fit. If a match is made, we encourage same-day adoptions! Our adoption fees include the animals' spay/neuter, microchip, age-appropriate vaccinations and preventatives, fecal testing, heartworm testing, and a small bag of food to get you started.

Story
Meet Gunnar! He is such a sweet and adorable guy! Loves to cuddle and lay next to you. Strictly rehoming due to him not getting along with his brother at home despite all attempts. He does do perfectly fine with our older dog and has never been introduced to cats. He is 90% house trained and just shy of 4 months. He is neutered, up to date on shots, and microchipped. We are looking to cover the costs. Has lived with children ages 2-13 with no issues. He gets a little rowdy when playing but that is normal for his age. He is very smart for his age and quickly learning commands and learning to walk well on a leash.
