Story
A friend rescued Maeby and two of her siblings from a hoarding situation. The friend was overwhelmed and asked us to foster one puppy. She was in a crate full time for the first 5 months of her life. She never went outside and as a result was not socialized or trained. We have been training her and she is learning but still has accidents. She is now 8 months old. When we first picked her up, we gave her a piece of bacon and she was very happy with us. Normally it does take her time to warm up to new people and new places. We have taken her for sheep herding lessons which she has loved. She's sweet, high energy and athletic. She loves car rides and looking out the window. She loves our dog and tries to play for most of the day.

Story
I'm Rascal, a one-year-old, 53-pound Border Collie mix -- I have a slender build like a sighthound. I'm a smart, bouncy, curious boy. I love going on walks and adventures, and I want to greet everyone I meet; my tail is always wagging! I'm friendly with other dogs and with children. I'm in a foster home right now, and my foster mom says I learned to heel and to leash walk in just a single day! I'm very clever and pick up new skills quickly, in part because I'm so treat motivated. I already have learned sit, down, and paw, and I'm working on come and stay. I would excel at agility work. I'd love to find an active family who enjoys the outdoors, and a fenced yard would be a plus because I enjoy racing around and getting my zoomies out -- I'm very fast! In the home, I like to chill with a bully stick or lie next to my foster family while they watch a movie. I sleep quietly in my crate all night, and I'm completely housetrained. Please apply at https://www.saveadog.org/applytoadopt.asp, and someone will get right back to you.

Story
We are calling them "Border Bullies"! Mama is a Border Collie, dad is a Pit Bull! I cannot imagine how smart these pups will be! They were born on October 13th. The owner of Nelly (mom) and Bruce (dad) unfortunately wound up in jail and obviously couldn't take care of this little family so they were surrendered to us on the day they were born. Both mom and dad have beautiful temperaments so I am quite sure these pups will be amazing! They will be available for adoption by January 11, 2025. They are all spayed/neutered, microchipped and vaccinated. How can you resist!! PLEASE NOTE THAT WE ARE LOCATED IN TENNESSEE AND YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO MEET OUR PETS PRIOR TO ADOPTION! ADOPTION FEE $500

These pups are in Boston, Massachusetts too!

Story
URGENT need for adopter!! This is Leo , he’s a 3yr old cattle ( March 12th bday ). He loves playing with balls, tug of war, and enjoying treats, especially meat. Outdoors, he enjoys trips to the park and beach, though he's still learning to swim. Leo can be cautious around certain dogs, children, teens, and strangers, but with time and patience, he opens up. He needs training, love, and an active lifestyle. Leo thrives in a home where he receives attention, structure, and affection. If you're ready to invest time in him, Leo will bring joy and loyalty into your life. My family could be facing legal issues regarding the health of our youngest if we continue to keep him. We all love him very much and wish he could stay but this is our best options vs a shelter.

Adoptable in: MA Good with dogs: YesGood with cats: NoGood with kids: YesCrate trained: YesHouse trained: YesPep is a chill, go-with-the-flow kind of guy who’s ready to go on your next adventure! Pep would likely do well in nearly any home ready to give him all the love.He is a low to medium energy pup who loves to stroll around the pond or hop in the car but is perfectly content to chill on the couch nearby. Pep gets along well with other pups and would do just fine with a canine sibling. He has interacted well and is respectful of cat boundaries in his current foster home, but has shown too much interest in new cats in new evironments, so he would most likely do best without a cat in the home. His gentle disposition would likely do fine with kids in the home.Pep is smart and eager to please. He is crate trained and potty-trained. He is crated occasionally during the day and overnight without any issues. He is working on his leash manners and loves to explore the world with his nose, so he would benefit from an owner excited to continue his training as he navigates his new environment.Pep is an all-around great pup with an easy-going temperament - are you ready to call him family?*Pep is part of our Medical Foster-to-Adopt Program as he is on prescription food. If you're interested in learning more, we will connect you with our Medical Team to explain the process! Please Note: All dogs currently available for adoption are posted on our website.
