Story
Meet Darcy and Molly: A Pair of Lifelong Friends in Need of a Loving Home Darcy, a stunning 10-year-old Great Pyrenees, and her sister Molly, a sweet Border Collie mix, have spent their entire lives together. Their world changed when their beloved owner had to enter a nursing home, leaving these two devoted companions in search of a new family. Our rescue specializes in helping terminally ill individuals find new homes for their pets, and we were honored to welcome both Darcy and Molly into our care. These two are inseparable, and we're committed to finding them a home where they can stay together, providing each other comfort and companionship through this transition. About Darcy: Darcy is a gentle giant with a heart of gold. Despite her size, she is incredibly friendly and approachable, making fast friends with everyone she meets—people of all ages, including children. Darcy is housebroken, well-mannered, and even behaved wonderfully during her veterinary visits. At her age, she knows what she likes and prefers the calm company of her sister Molly over the hustle and bustle of other dogs. About Molly: Molly may be smaller, but she looks up to Darcy for guidance and reassurance. The bond between these two is unbreakable, and Molly draws strength from Darcy’s calm demeanor. Together, they make the perfect pair, balancing each other out and providing mutual comfort. Molly's love language is licking, so you can expect to be licked on the arm, in the face, and wherever she can reach to show you how much she loves you! She makes friends fast. What They Need: We’re looking for a family that understands the special grooming needs of a Great Pyrenees and is committed to daily brushing to keep Darcy looking and feeling her best. Both girls enjoy daily walks and would thrive in a home that can offer them the love, attention, and care they deserve. Health and Wellness: Darcy and Molly have received comprehensive senior wellness care, including bloodwork, vaccinations (rabies, distemper, lepto, bordetella, and flu), and both are spayed and microchipped. They are healthy, happy, and ready to bring joy to a new family. If you’re ready to open your heart and home to this incredible duo, please reach out to us. Darcy and Molly have so much love to give and are eager to start the next chapter of their lives together—with you. Story
Lassie was left behind by a friend of mine who recently and suddenly passed away. I live in Florida and cannot have pets where I live. I am unable to find someone local in Grand Rapids, and the no-kill rescue centers are full and not taking dogs. Lassie, is a sweet and friendly dog who has lived with two other dogs and five cats, so is extremely mellow. Approximately 5-6 years old. May be a little hard of hearing, but I do not know for sure. My friend was a wonderful caring person and treated all of his pets with love. Wish for a safe and loving home, perhaps with another dog or cat in the home. I have a second dog that I will also list separately, but will include the picture of Annie here. It would be wonderful if they could be placed together. Thank you for any help that can be rendered.

Story
Porter loves to chill wherever his people are! He is amazing on leash and harness and his favorite word is "walk"! He has nightly zoomies, but is otherwise pretty mellow and likes to sleep during the day. He is crate-trained and spends time in there while we're at work. He eats whenever and sheds WAY LESS than you'd think. We brush him once a week and he is no more than 50 lbs! His only concerns are a touch of separation anxiety, but he is fine/settles after a minute of whining. He likes to follow you around the house, he is the best loving, goofy companion! **He lives with a dog and cat currently, but they are separated by baby gate! Porter seems a little too interested/energetic for the other dogs and cats. We think over time he could do great! He is calmer around kids, but seems concerned when they whine. We'd suggest families with children 10+. He is UTD on ALL vaccines and HW/F/T prevention. NO health concerns. Rehoming due to moving out of the country for veterinary school!

Story
Lily Rose is an 8 year old female/spayed border collie She was going to be put down because a previous owner could not care for her any more, but she has no health issues at all. She has a congenital malocclusion, otherwise healthy. She is up to date on all vaccines, free of intestinal parasites, free of heartworm and tick borne diseases. She has been on monthly heartworm and flea/tick prevention. She eats Iams dry dog food. Lily is great on a leash. She is crate trained. She knows all basic commands and is very good at staying and also coming when called. She loves walks and she LOVES playing frisbee. Being a little older now her play drive doesn’t last as long but still needs a dedicated owner who is willing to throw a frisbee every day (20-30 minutes☺️) and take her on walking adventures. Lily does not like other dogs, but is not reactive when she’s on a leash around them. She will sit and stay when other dogs are around when given proper commands. She is good with cats.

Story
Stanley is a playful and affectionate dog. He is a 6-year-old Texas Heeler, an Australian Cattle Dog/Border Collie mix. We got him from a rescue at 6 months old. He weighs 50 pounds. He loves any form of fetch and has excelled at any training or activity we have done with him. He's pretty good at frisbee! He loves to cuddle and curl up at your feet. He does not do well alone for long stretches, so you would need someone home with him in general. He's fine for like 6 hours at a time. We would like to keep him, but we have a toddler and a baby who is looking to start walking, and Stanley bumps the girls over (like when walking past). He's great with kids other than that, we just think he'd be better with older kids. He gets along with other dogs in general, but would be better with bigger, non-aggressive dogs. We'd have to introduce any potential pet-siblings and see how they get along.
