Story
Hey my name is Boba! I am an active, fun for an owner willing to offer proper training and exercise. I am a quick learner, and with the help of some yummy treats, I will make you proud with my excellent manners. I have already learned sit since I have been at the shelter! I do have A LOT of energy and may be a bit too much for some families, like families with children under five. However, a lot of energy also means a lot of LOVE! With time, training, and patience- you can help me be the best dog I can be!

We do our best to provide information that will help determine if the animal might be a good fit for you. Please note that behaviors may change in a home environment. We also ask our applicants to assume that any animal they adopt from us will need to be potty-trained and learn house manners, although this is not always the case. In most cases, the listed breeds are also a best guess. Our online animal bios are designed to provide as much information as possible and answer some anticipated questions. We do not have the resources to respond to emails with more specific questions. We are receiving an unusually high number of applications at this time! Applications are reviewed as they are received, but we do not select adopters on a first-come basis. Our job is to ensure each pet is placed into the best fit home for them and that adopters are paired with an animal that is a good fit for their lifestyle. All animals will stay on Petfinder until they are “pending adoption”. Therefore, if an animal is still listed, we are still accepting applications for him/her! Please do not send inquiries about a specific animal's availability as this can change quickly over the course of the day. The fastest way to get a response is to simply submit an application! We will do our best to notify you by email if the pet(s) you are interested in are no longer available. New animals are posted daily, so please let us know if another furry friend peak your interest (there is no need to fill out a second application)! Fill out the application (DOG: https://service.sheltermanager.com/asmservice?account=dr1937&method=online_form_html&formid=26, CAT: https://service.sheltermanager.com/asmservice?account=dr1937&method=online_form_html&formid=41, EXOTICS: https://us14b.sheltermanager.com/onlineform_view?formid=46) completely. It could take up to a couple of weeks for you to receive a final disposition on your application so there is no need to check on the status.-Introductions will be scheduled by appointment only, 30 minutes per appointment. The entire household, including current dogs, must be present for the appointment. (Note: Please do not bring your dogs if you are meeting cats!). Story
Stormy needs an active home, I'm 73 years old and he's too much for me to keep up with, I rescued him from being kept in a dark room all day and only let out for the bathroom so he's got separation anxiety amd just wants your attention and love, he loves to try to play with my other dog that's is older and he don't want to play, he's a squrill chaser! When left alone for a period he will sometimes chew something, he's not ever been in a crate with me I'm not sure if his previous home. He's a very friendly happy dog that deserves a better home then I can give him
