Story
Looking for a smart, loyal, hugging, lovable dog - look no further - Archer is your boy. This boy was used for breeding and the building he was kept in caught fire and the breeder had nowhere to keep the dogs so they were signed over to the shelter as owner surrenders - we were fortunate enough to be able to pull Archer out of the shelter and so glad we did because he is amazing. He was born on 2-12-22 - so he is 2 years old - his current weight is 48 pounds. He is so very smart, very loyal, loves other dogs ( we are unsure of cats as his foster does not have cats), great with kids and just an all around good dog - he is crate and housetrained and knows basic commands. He would make an excellent family dog , an excellent hiking partner, he just wants to be loved and he will give you big hugs in return Archer is neutered, current on vaccines, dewormed, has had a bloodwork panel done, negative for heartworms and lymes disease, microchipped and current on his monthly heartworm prevention. His adoption fee is $250.00 If you are interested in adopting this amazing boy please go to our website www.boxerbuttsandothermutts.org and fill out one of our adoption applications - an inquiry through here is not our adoption application. We do require an application to be filled out before we will set up a meet and greet - we do require a home visit and vet references as well. We do no have a facility - all of our dogs are fostered in private foster homes So looking for a special boy that will bring you many years of happiness - go fill out the application - you won't be sorry - because Archer is amazing

My name is Jolene, but you can call me your future fur-ever friend. I'm a 3-year-old Border Collie/German Shepherd mix, a blend of intelligence, affection and playful spirit. Let me tell you a bit about myself, from my own pawspective!A Brainy Beauty: They say I'm a mix of two of the smartest breeds, and I proudly live up to that! I'm not just a pretty face with my long, lush fur; I've got the brains too. I know lots of commands like 'sit', 'stay', 'down', and even 'NOW' (for when things are super important). I'm crate-trained, which means I have my own cozy den where I feel safe and happy.Lover of Learning: I'm always eager to learn new tricks and skills. Teaching me is as easy as giving me treats and some of your time. I love showing off my tricks, and I'm always up for learning more.Cuddly Companion: My favorite part of the day is cuddling with you. Yes, you! I may have lots of energy for running and playing fetch, but I'm also an expert in the art of relaxation. I adore snoozing by your side, and I'm a big fan of TV – dog shows and nature documentaries are my favorites!Adventure Buddy: Car rides? Errands? Count me in! I'm your go-to girl for all adventures. My energetic nature makes me a perfect companion for outdoor activities, but what I love most is spending time with my human.A Home with Heart: My current family loves me a lot, but, alas, my beautiful long hair isn't the best for their allergies. I'm dreaming of a home with a fenced yard where I can zoom around and play to my heart's content. Smaller furry siblings are great, but I'm a bit unsure around dogs my size (about 45 pounds) or larger.A Heart Full of Love: At the end of the day, all I want is to give and receive love. I promise to be your loyal friend, your confidant and your most enthusiastic adventure partner. If you have room in your home and heart for a sweet, intelligent and loving companion, look no further. I'm here, wagging my tail, waiting for our paths to cross. Let's make beautiful memories together!Ready to meet me? Reach out to sam.kocharov@gmail.com or 561-504-4631 and let's set up a time. I can't wait to start our journey together! All Mountain Pet Rescue (Asheville) animals are up-to-date on vaccinations, spayed/neutered and micro-chipped before adoption. Contact the foster parent or Mountain Pet Rescue at pets@mpravl.org for more information. Please note that visual breed identification of companion animals has been proven to be unreliable, so for most of our animals we provide a best guess at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each of our animals as an individual and do our best to describe and place pets based on personality not breed label. Mountain Pet Rescue is a 501(c)(3) non-profit tax deductible charity (EIN 82-3039637) located in Asheville, NC. August 20, 2024, 2:15 am

Born 7/29/23, I'm right at a year old and only 35 lbs. so won't get much bigger. I love to play, play, play with my siblings, then come for a snuggle fest with my fave peeps. I'm one smart cookie learning to sit, watch & wait in just a few days. The sky is the limit with me! I've been neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and am ready to start my new life with you!
