Howdy from Bocephus! Bocephus was found on Saint James Rd in Waldo back in December. He is sweet and gentle and loves treats. He does want to inspect trash cans, so hide your trash at home or put a lid on it. Bo is believed to be a Border Collie mix weighing 42 pounds, though he should weigh closer to 50. Based on his teeth, we are guessing he is 4-6 years old. Bocephus seems to get along well with other dogs when he’s out of his kennel! He had a meet and greet a while back but the adopters decided it wasn’t the right time for another dog. Come say hi to this sad boy and offer him the fresh start he deserves! Any kids or dogs at home must come in for a meet and greet. We can cat test upon request.

Ravi is 2, white with black spots. He loves his horse jolly ball. He is very terrier like, in that he wants to play, but often retrieves but keeps it at the last second. He is a super happy boy and loves to be scritched and bounces when he runs to play. He is a ditz though and will run into things...he will eat plastic. He is a chewer and even black kongs get chewed up, though slowly. He also knows most basic commands, when he is paying attention lol. Ravi has no known allergies, though he has not had chicken since he was little. He also can have heartguard and nexgard. Tall and willowy. Mild separation anxiety. Whines. Boofs when surprised by people. Has never raised a hackle... only boofs to say Hey! Silly happy boy looking for someone so he can brighten their life.

Jude is a 40 lb 1 yr old Border Collie mix. His energy on a scale of 1-10 is 15. He can jump 4 ft in the air without issue and scale a 5 foot barrier without flinching. Jude would likely make a great agility dog for someone. He will NEED a significant amount of exercise daily and anyone that has interest will also need to continue basic obedience with him. He already knows some commands. He is a candidate for our prison training program once he heals up from his neuter surgery. Jude is neutered, vaccinated, heartworm negative, wormed, and microchipped. Miss Fraya has adjusted incredibly well since her arrival. It took her only one evening to start warming up to her new surroundings and foster family. She has shown herself to be very gentle and loving, quickly forming bonds with everyone. Fraya enjoys playing with her dog toys and has a calm and affectionate demeanor. She loves taking walks and is very well-behaved during them, not barking at other dogs we pass or pulling too hard on the leash. She also enjoys running in the fenced yard or simply laying down on the patio to take a rest. Since she has been with us (foster home), she has not had any accidents in the house. We normally wake up once in the night to let her out just in case. Yesterday, we had a mobile groomer come to our house, and they advised that she did great and was very patient throughout the entire process, even getting her nails trimmed. We do not feed her any table food, only the dry food we were given, but we do offer her dog treats after she has been outside. Fraya has also been very gentle with visitors, allowing them to pet her without jumping up or barking. She enjoys lying on her large dog bed but also loves to lay by your feet while you are working or watching TV. Her loving nature makes her a joy to have around.

Meet Zachariah!! He came in as a stray on 1/23/25 with his sister, Zillah. We think he is about a year old. It is hard to tell from the pictures, but he is a big guy! He is sweet and friendly and he has lots of energy. When he is wound up, he can play bite, so a home without small children would be best. Zachariah was tested with cats and did fine with cats but was interested in them. He did not show any signs of aggression. Zachariah is neutered, heartworm/lyme negative and has his rabies vaccination. He is available for adoption so hurry in to meet him! Evelyn would be a great fit for a family or an active owner who will keep her busy! She was originally found as a stray as a little baby and has pretty much grown up here. She did a trial adoption for a couple of months but was returned due to personal reasons of the adopter not related to Evelyn. Evelyn loves other dogs and we think she would do well with kids! She is 9-10 months old and we were told she’s housebroken! Evelyn is available to foster or adopt!
