Story
Jude is a 40 lb 1 yr old Border Collie mix.  His energy on a scale of 1-10 is 15.  He can jump 4 ft in the air without issue and scale a 5 foot barrier without flinching. Jude would likely make a great agility dog for someone.  He will NEED a significant amount of exercise daily and anyone that has interest will also need to continue basic obedience with him.  He already knows some commands.  He is a candidate for our prison training program once he heals up from his neuter surgery. Jude is neutered, vaccinated, heartworm negative, wormed, and microchipped. Anyone with interest can stop at the shelter to meet him and complete an application to be considered. Lainey is a 1 1/2 year old black lab, border collie husky mix. She is a very smart girl with puppy tendency’s. She needs a place where she can run and explore. She is very hyper. We got her from a family friend who couldn’t take her with her when they moved. She had become too much for us to handle, as we live on a busy road and she likes to run. She has been around kids, however, she is too hyper and likes to jump. So a home without any small kids would be best. She is a very strong dog and does not do well on a leash as she pulls a lot. We have tried working with her but she just wants to run. We have not had a chance to get her fixed or get her up to date on her shots. Looking for a family who would love to cuddle on her and let her live her best live! Our life style just doesn’t seem to match up to her life style. She has not been around any other dogs buts acts very aggressive with the neighbor dogs. She is not a fan of cats she doesn’t hurt them but will chase them.

Meet Bocephus! He is a new arrival and we are still getting to know him. He loves treats and pets. He is nervous and shy around new people but we are hoping his true personality comes out when he gets comfortable. Bocephus is believed to be a border collie mix, weighing 43 lbs. If you’d like to meet him, please let us know! Any kids or dogs at home must come in for a meet and greets. We can cat test if needed!

Ravi is 2, white with black spots. He loves his horse jolly ball. He is very terrier like, in that he wants to play, but often retrieves but keeps it at the last second. He is a super happy boy and loves to be scritched and bounces when he runs to play. He is a ditz though and will run into things...he will eat plastic. He is a chewer and even black kongs get chewed up, though slowly. He also knows most basic commands, when he is paying attention lol. Ravi has no known allergies, though he has not had chicken since he was little. He also can have heartguard and nexgard. Tall and willowy. Mild separation anxiety. Whines. Boofs when surprised by people. Has never raised a hackle... only boofs to say Hey! Silly happy boy looking for someone so he can brighten their life.
