Story
Milly is a sweet girl. She’s almost 3 years old. Adopting her from a shelter I thought I could handle her breed since I had a previous dog that was mixed with BC. However, her instincts are too strong and those instincts don’t mesh the best with young children, especially children on the spectrum. She also is very protective of people she doesn’t know coming into our home. She is crate trained, house broken. I think she would be happier somewhere where she had tons of land and/ or jobs. I only want her to go to someone who has experience and/ or a passion, love for Border Collies.

Story
Meet the Magnificent Oliver! Hey there, potential best friend! I'm Oliver, a quirky, lovable, and drop-dead gorgeous pup who just graduated from the Paws-In-Prison program. I've got the brains of a working dog and the charm of a comedian, and I'm on the lookout for a forever home that appreciates a dog with a bit of flair! What You Need to Know: 1. **Brains and Brawn:** I've aced my basic and advanced obedience classes, so I know my stuff. I'm a smart cookie and I need to be included in all the family activities. Boredom is not an option for me! 2. **Dynamic Duo:** I thrive with a second friendly, playful dog. I love canine companionship and need a buddy to share my adventures. 3. **Quirky and Unique:** I've got a personality that's larger than life. I might not be the perfect fit for every home, but if you love uniqueness, you'll absolutely adore me. 4. **Transition Time:** I need about 2-3 weeks to settle into my new home. Be patient with me, and I'll show you just how amazing I can be. 5. **Room to Run:** A fenced-in yard is a must. I love to run, play, and need the space to stretch these long legs of mine. Oliver's Fun Facts: - **Big Dog Energy:** I'm very dog-friendly, but I might be a bit much for some dogs at first. I don't realize I'm the size of a small horse! - **Possessive Pooch:** I can be a bit bratty over my things, but it's something I'm working on. It's hardly an issue anymore. - **Affectionate Furball:** I'll bury my head into you for some good old-fashioned love. I'm a big softie at heart. - **Master of Mischief:** I love getting all the dogs in the yard to chase me around at full speed. It's my favorite game! - **Adorable Weirdo:** I get weirded out by the strangest things sometimes. When I'm overwhelmed, I like to chill in my crate or on the bottom bunk of my doggie bunk bed. It's my safe space. Working Dog Traits: - **Vigilant Vigilante:** I bark and spin when I'm excited. If dogs are roughhousing on the other side of the fence, I'll pace and bark like a referee on duty. If you're looking for a dog who's not just a pet but a family member, a playmate, and a comedian, I'm your guy. I need an active home that understands my working dog needs and can offer me the love, patience, and space I deserve. If you think we could be a match made in doggie heaven, let's meet and see where this adventure takes us! PS- Little humans make me nervous! Story
Wilder is absolutely gorgeous! This boy has the silkiest fur. and enjoys being brushed. He is super sweet and very tender with a gentle touch. He can be shy and sometimes takes a little bit of time to warm up to some people. Wilder loves toys and loves to play with a canine friend. He would do best with a fenced in yard where he can get plenty of exercise and have an outlet for his zoomies. Wilder will do best in a home without small children. Their energy brings out the herding instinct in him and he will give the herding nip on the behind. He does not enjoy the crazy chaos of kids. Ideally, his perfect home would include another playful dog, lots of toys, Lots of things he is allowed to chew, no children and a fenced in yard. -We only place dogs in homes that meet THEIR needs. -Be sure to visit our Facebook page for additional pictures and information on our rescues! Story
Benny was born 11/09/2018. He was purchased from a breeder in 2019 by a friend and I took him in as a favor that same year and have had him ever since. But now that I’m married with a baby and a second baby on the way, we unfortunately do not have enough space in our little home for Benny. He would be best suited in a home with older children and not too many other animals. He has lived with cats before and does ok with some dogs but not all. He is very playful and loves chew bones, especially bacon or PB flavored. He also loves playing tug with rope toys, easily his favorite game. He is also very good at playing catch. He absolutely loves going on walks and is used to both rural and urban environments. He likes being brushed gently and his fur is on the longer side. I have always done his bathing and grooming myself so I have no idea how he would do at a professional groomer. Benny is loving and protective of his owners. Though he is not puppy anymore, he certainly plays like one!

Story
Hi there, I’m Orion! They say I’m named after a constellation of stars, and you know what? I like to think that fits me just right. Like my celestial namesake, I might not always be the first one you notice in a crowd, but once you do, you’ll see I shine in my own special way. I’ve got a calm, laid-back vibe that’s a little different from your typical Australian Cattle Dog energy. Sure, I still enjoy a good walk or some playtime, but I’m also perfectly content lounging by your side, soaking up the love. Here’s another bright spot: I get along great with other dogs! Whether it’s a playmate in the yard or a buddy to share the couch with, I’m happy to make friends and share the good vibes. I was found wandering as a stray, so I’m still figuring out what it means to have a real home. I hear it’s pretty amazing, though, and I can’t wait to meet someone who’ll give me that chance. At almost 2 years old and 56 pounds, I’m just the right size to be your loyal companion without taking over your whole couch. I’m already neutered and ready to be the brightest star in your life. So, what do you say? Are you ready to make your universe a little brighter with me in it? I’ll be here, wagging my tail and waiting to meet you! Orion's adoption fee is $275.
