Story
Meet Marty, not just your average backyard ball chaser. He is the king of high jumps and enthusiastic greetings. This dashing dude has mastered the fine art of fetch—though he’s still negotiating the terms of return—and has an undeniable charm that makes him a hit with both two-legged and four-legged friends. When it comes to cohabitating, Marty is a dream. He’s completely comfortable with handling, loves to lay close to his humans or canine pals. Plus, potty and crate trained—just hold the blankets in the crate, as he tends to turn them into a personal DIY project. Marty is a bonded pair with Ro.

Story
Meet Ro! 🐾 A sweet dog looking for a loving home. He’s a bit hesitant around men and small children, but with a little patience, he’ll warm up. Ro is fine with older kids and enjoys playing in the yard with his foster’s 5-year-old son, though he can get a little skittish when approached quickly. He is warming up to his foster dad, he’ll lay nearby as long as he’s left to approach on his own terms and he is never aggressive. Ro is a calm, sweet dog who doesn’t bite, but will bark if he's unsure. He'd do great in a home with smaller dogs or dogs around his size, but he does tend to provoke the bigger dogs. Ro just needs a patient, understanding family who will let him get comfortable on his own time. 🐶💕 But with a little patience Ro will be the best and most loyal companion!

Story
violet is the BEST dog. We have had her for about 5 years. She was abandoned in Central Texas and we originally brought home to foster. She is amazing with kids, other dogs and cats. We are looking to rehome her because we have 5 children and she is constantly escaping and acting aggressive towards our neighbors. She has nipped one person who was on a bike riding past our kids. We have a neighbor who is obsessed with calling animal control on her anytime she escapes our yard-- which with 5 young kids, is often.

These pups are in Granbury, Texas too!

Story
**Meet Luda: Your Future Adventure Buddy! 🐾** Age: 18 Months Weight: 33 lbs Breed: Double Merle Miniature Australian Shepherd Status: Neutered, Vaccinated, Microchipped Hello, potential forever family! My name is Luda, and I’m an 18-month-old double Merle miniature Australian Shepherd with a heart full of love and an abundance of energy! Weighing in at 33 lbs, I’m the perfect size for adventures, and if you’re looking for a furry companion to join you on hikes, runs, or spontaneous outings, then look no further—I’m your guy! I thrive on activity and am always ready to play. Whether it's chasing a ball, exploring the great outdoors, or showing off my tricks, I promise to keep you entertained and on your toes! I want to share that I am deaf, which means I may require some extra patience and understanding when it comes to training and communication. But don’t worry—I’m a quick learner and eager to bond with my new family! I’m trained to a Halti, which helps to manage my energy during walks and makes outings more enjoyable for both of us. However, due to my high energy levels, I may be too much for some dogs, so I would do best in a home where I can be the main focus or with a fellow pup who can keep up with my enthusiasm. I’m neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped, so I’m all set to find my forever home. I would be happiest with an active family or individual who can provide plenty of exercise and mental stimulation to keep me happy and healthy. I love being around people and would thrive in a home where I can be part of the action! I am adoptable within 5 hours of Granbury, Tx and do require a secure fenced yard for my safety. You will be required to show proof of heartworm prevention for current and/or past dogs to keep me healthy. If you’re ready for a loyal companion who will bring joy, laughter, and endless adventures into your life, I can’t wait to meet you! Together, we can make unforgettable memories. Let’s embark on this incredible journey together! **Ready to adopt Luda? Contact us today!** 🐶❤️ Adoption fee is $200 Www.scftx.org/adopt
