Introducing Trevor, our stunning 4-month-old Border Collie pup who is ready to steal your heart!
Trevor is doing an excellent job with both crate and housetraining. Although he is deaf, it doesn't slow him down one bit! He’s a smart boy who is already mastering commands like come/recall, down, sit, stay, and focus, and is working hard at learning to shake.
Trevor loves the dogs in his foster home. He eagerly engages in play, follows them around to learn the ropes, and then curls up for snuggled naps. And he’s learning how to be a deaf dog by spending time with his foster's deaf Aussie. He also adores the resident kitty and tries to play, so he should be fine in a home with a dog-savvy cat.
As a typical high-energy Border Collie, Trevor is super smart and a quick learner. He loves playing fetch, chase, and tug-of-war with dogs and independent play with his toys. He enjoys going for walks and will need an active home that can also keep his bright mind engaged with activities like nose work and puzzle toys.
Trevor is the sweetest—he loves to snuggle, give kisses, and adores everyone. He loves his people, always wanting to keep an eye on them and know where they are. His sweet and sensitive nature makes him completely irresistible.

GDU does ask a minimum adoption fee of $400.00. This does not even come close to covering all expenses created by animals while in rescue. We are funded solely by the angels and volunteers willing to donate time and finances. This minimum fee includes DAPP, rabies if age appropriate,, heartworm test and preventative, if age appropriate, and flea and tick treatment, as well as neutering or spaying, if the animal is medically sound to undergo surgery. In an attempt to avoid tummy upset from a sudden change of food, the foster family may include a small, transitional bag of the food the dog/puppy has been eating. And if the dog/puppy has grown attached to a special item (like a toy or blanket), they may send that along, as well.
