Intake Reason: strayWeight: 71#Known with: ·Cats: unknown ·Dogs: came in with another dog ·Kids: unknownPersonality:Hi there, my name is Chulo and I am quite cute. I was out and about with my friend, Donut, before we were brought in as strays to WCHS. Even though we took comfort in being out on our own together, we do not need to find a new home together; unless, of course, you happen to be looking for two spectacular dogs. I am hoping for an active home where I will get plenty of physical and mental exercise every day because I have lots of energy to burn. I am friendly and playful and am always up for a good time. I have had the opportunity to participate in playgroups at the shelter and that is fun but I must say that I prefer to hang out with calm dogs. I am simply not a fan of rowdy and rambunctious pups. Although I am still a lively dude, I am mature and prefer my playmates to be polite. I am an affectionate lad and love cuddles and tender scratches but I realize that since I weigh about 73 pounds, I may be a skosh too big for your lap. I know the cues for ‘sit', ‘down' and ‘shake/paw' and do enjoy learning so I hope you will help me understand more human words. Perhaps we could take some classes together so I can keep my beautiful brain busy and engaged. I think I might like mentally challenging toys and games and maybe we can practice nose work; I do have quite a fabulous schnoz. I certainly hope you stop by to check me out; I am sure I will razzle-dazzle you with my brilliance.#2

Story
I would like you to meet Lucy, a pure bred border collie. She is just over two years old. And has been a great dog to have for the last two years! We are very sad about having to rehome her but we feel that we can't provide her the attention she needs. She would do great in a home where she can play outside a lot and run, she has a lot of energy. She would be better in a home without children. With the proper training I feel that Lucy can be the perfect dog for your home!

Story
This poor boy is still looking for his own forever home !! We are shocked since he is the goodest boy ever !! And so very handsome, you could turn heads together walking down the street :) Hey it's Pumpernickel here (Pumpkin for short) and yes I have been told how smashingly adorable I am hehe. I made the trip to Wisconsin and am looking for a place to call my own. Since being in Wisconsin I have learned to play fetch and catch Frisbees. I don't always bring them back, but love to run around with them. I love going on walks and even enjoy running with my foster dad and girl. My leash skills are good and even have learned to run along when needed. So if you need a running partner I'm game, or a nice fenced in yard to play catch, I am easy like that. When I'm lounging in the house I love chewing on antlers and hard toys. I do love the squeaking toys. Finding the squeaker is top priority! I have also conquered treat puzzle toys. They make me use my brain. The teenager girl in the home will play chase me and cuddle with me when done. When I'm not playing I love to be with my people. Cars rides with my people are the best. That way I can explore the world with you. I have been to parades and a baseball game even, yep just call me Mr. Social. Being with you is on the top of my list. I'm potty trained and go in the kennel with a little boost. I'm a young male around 1-2 years old. I do know some basic commands like sit, lay down, off and leave it. In my foster home I do have two dogs, the older one ignores me but the other one is fun we play chase thru the yard. Being younger and playful I would like a dog just as playful in the home or a home where I'm the one and only. I do love all the attention and belly rubs. I love all dogs and people I meet. If you feel like I'm a perfect companion for you apply at Sandi Paws. I cannot wait to make memories with you !Thank you for your interest in a Sandi Paws Rescue, Inc.
