Story
OTTO is a handsome Terrier mix boy that is so very handsome and a young 4 year old that is 40 pounds and ready for a  wonderful family that wants a fabulous dog!  This boy is just adorable and so happy and friendly and seems to be Schnauzer mix or Border Terrier that is so versatile in his personality.  You want a dog that is great with other dogs….that is Otto.   You want a dog that is wonderful with all types of people that he encounters…that is Otto.   Otto is a very sweet dog that has been taught the basics that add up to an A+ candidate for a family.  He is crate trained and is house trained as long as taken out regular.  He does pull some on a leash but we are working on that.  He loves his people and loves to cuddle. He really enjoys his yard so he needs a fenced in yard. He loves to run and play.  He knows how to sit. We has not been around young toddlers so we think that older children would be the best vet for him if there are children in the family setting.  He is a great dog and would enrich any family. We do want to be sure to say that he does shed.  If you are an active family, he is always up for an adventure. Please email Critter Cavalry Rescue if you are interested and write to ccrtennessee@gmail.com   PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comJuly 8, 2024, 9:53 pm

Story
Leche's basic bio is below, but we maintain more detailed information about each of our animals on our website, which is also always up to date with animals removed immediately once they are adopted. Please visit Leche's page on our site (https://www.muddypawsrescue.org/adoptable?dog=007750) to learn even more about Leche! Additionally, please note that the breed listed for Leche is just our best guess based on the dog's physical features. We cannot make any guarantees about the accuracy of our guesses. PLEASE NOTE: DUE TO VOLUME, WE ARE GENERALLY UNABLE TO RESPOND TO INQUIRIES MADE USING THE 'ASK ABOUT ME' BUTTON. Please reach out to us directly using the contact information on our website: www.muddypawsrescue.org. My name is Leche and I’m looking for my new home. I’m sweet and playful. I was found by a lovely couple while I was wondering the streets of Manhattan. They brought me to ACC and the wonderful folks at MPR placed me in a foster home. That makes me a NY Native! I’m living in Brooklyn with my fosters and their two dogs. I recently had surgery to remove a tumor and received some not such great news. The tumor was found to be grade 3 mammary carcinoma. My time is limited on this earth but have so much living to do before I exit. I’m not going to let this prognosis stop me from living my best life. I enjoy walks and exploring the neighborhood. I’m confident on my walks but I’m not a fan of fireworks and I like to howl when I hear a siren passing. I get a little excited when passing other dogs but not crazy. I could use some guidance and redirection. I enjoy any soft squishy toy. I could play for hours. Chewing, carrying them around, finding hiding spots and discovering the hiding spots later. I was a little guarded at first of my toys but learned quickly to share. I enjoy bell rubs, treats, blueberries, meeting new people, strawberries, and sleeping the day away. Reach out to MPR and they can explain my prognosis further. Excited to meet you. .

Story
ALL our cats and dogs are in the NY area but can be adopted out of state to the purrfect furever home.  In some cases, we can help transport.  Zani's al fresco Summer Adoptions  follow us on FB to find us this summer as we will try new locations to meet the needs of NYC and support the little stores:)     Meet Rain, a 15-month-old medium-sized mixed breed sweetheart rescued from Puerto Rico. Rain has been through a lot in her short life, but you’d never know it. She has the tenacity, spirit, and spunk of a happy girl. She is sweet, intelligent, and knows basic commands. She would do best in a home with a fenced-in backyard where she can run, play, and explore. Good with other dogs? Yes. Good with cats? Unknown. Quirks or fears? Afraid of loud sounds and traffic. Needs positive reinforcement, love, and patience. Housetrained? Yes. Crate-trained? Yes, she has been sleeping in a crate at night. Health problems? No known health issues. Activity level? High. She likes to play nip. Plays with toys? Yes, but do not give her cheap toys, toys that can break, or chews that she can break and swallow. Car travel? Very good in the car and no car sickness. And check out her heart-shaped nose and oh-so-adorable RCA dog appearance.     .All dogs are located in NY/NJ area All our puppies need puppy play dates/doggy facetime so we recommend homes with other pups or daily interactions to keep them tired out, happy and social.     Facebook: Zani's Furry Friends ZFF (weekly adoption event info posted there) Twitter: zanisff  Instagram: zanisfurryfriends   Dogs are spayed/neutered, UTD on age appropriate vaccines, Rabies vaxed, and microchipped (not Lyme vaxed but we seriously recommend it!)  All are in the NY/NJ area but we will adopt out of state to the purrfect home and in some cases, we can arrange transport.  Please go to our site  https://zanisfurryfriends.org  fill out an application  Many of us (cats/dogs) will be on display on Saturdays or Sundays, weather dependent--please ask by writing us at dogs@zanisfurryfriends.org and following us on FB. If you are seriously interested in adopting one of us in particular, please fill out an application early Friday so that we can be sure to be there. Otherwise we decide based on other variables. Usually we are in our foster homes so this is a bit more stressful and a slightly artificial environment but we do want to be seen and find our furever homes too.   Please consider providing a home for more than one dog, especially if you are considering adopting a puppy. Dogs are pack animals and very much enjoy as well as need other dog company to learn to play, socialize and be good companion animals to people. The upside to this is that you won't feel as guilty leaving them alone and you get twice the love. Please come! And if you can't adopt, maybe you can foster or volunteer, and you can always donate! If you want to know about cats/dogs specifically being shown at our adoption locations, please email us info@zanisfurryfriends.org closer to the date so we know your interest and will make every effort to have that pet at the event or let you know how and where you can meet.  It is extemely helpful and speeds up adoption if the application is filled out prior to visiting us so please do that before coming to our weekend events. Our weekend locations are: Saturdays or Sundays, weather dependent  Follow us on FB, Zani's Furry Friends ZFF, for latest updates. Usually we are in our foster homes so all this is a bit more stressful but we do want to be seen and find our furever homes. Please come! Cats are feline combo tested for FIV/FeLV; dogs are heartworm tested and rabies vax'd, (NOT lyme vaxed but we seriously recommend it); rabbits are spayed/neutered. Story
**Meet Lorax: Your Loyal and Loving Companion** Meet Lorax (also known as Eleanor), a charming seven-year-old border terrier mix weighing in at a petite 12 lbs. Lorax is seeking a calm, low-traffic household where she can be the star of the show. She thrives best in an environment without children, a fenced yard and as the only pet, although she does get along well with cats. Lorax has made impressive strides in her behavior thanks to a dedicated board and train program. She still needs some work on leash manners and respecting boundaries, so an experienced owner who can continue her training is essential. To support her transition, we offer free training to her adopter, ensuring Lorax continues to progress and feel secure in her new home. If you're ready to welcome a sweet, smart, and special dog into your life, Lorax is eagerly waiting to meet you.
