Champion is a true 4 year old Terrier boy. He would do best with a Terrier savvy owner and in a home with no kids. Meet Jexie!! Jexie was owned by his Mom a nurse for 10 years in Iowa. She moved to Louisiana to be closer to her adult children and within 6 weeks was dead from bird flu. She was 63. Poor Jexie was very confused and sent to live with her son’s family. Jexie chased the family cats and was thereafter kept outside 24/7 in awful Louisiana heat. He was so confused and just wanted to be an inside beloved pet again.male 15 pounds, 10 years old, Carin Terrier Mix Owner died 6 weeks after moving to Louisiana.Likes to be approached slowly. Prefers a smaller pack.Fully vetted Meet Jexie!!! This cutie is 10 years old and 15 pounds, cairn terrier His foster mom says:Jexie is my shadow now, he follows me everywhere!He likes to jump in my lap and give kisses!Jexie needs someone who will give him space and time to trust!He loves treats and will sit and lay down for them.Good with other dogs! We do not have any paid staff members. Our adoption fee is $300 which includes spay/neuter, DHPP, Bordetella, Rabies, HW check, and microchip. Russell Rescue dogs are fostered in the Middle Tennessee area. We do not ship/transport our dogs, so the approved adopter must be willing to travel to Tennessee. Russell Rescue will try to first place our rescue dogs locally or in surrounding states.Russell Rescue is not open to the public for visiting hours.
