Story
Animal Profile: Declan is an estimated 10- to 12-month old 26 lb neutered male terrier (possibly border terrier) mix with a wiry coat (low to no shedding) and a spunky personality! Declan aka Little Dicky was found as a stray in eastern WA and taken in by a good samaritan who was not well equipped to meet this pups needs, so he made his way to Dog Gone Seattle. Foster Update:  Declan is super smart and social, friendly with all people including children, and loves to play with other dogs. He is currently living with three children and a pack of large dogs (don't tell him he's not a large dog!) and he gets along with everyone. When Declan joined DGS he had some pretty serious separation anxiety, hated the crate, and barked continuously when left alone. With structure and training, we are proud to share that Declan is now crate trained (will go in on command, and is calm/quiet when left alone for up to 4 hours and through the night). He is affectionate (loves to give kisses) and playful, and is still very much in his puppy phase so learning what is and is not a toy, but he will happily give up his toys to any person or child. He puts up a bit of a stink with dogs but equally loves to play tug and play toy stealing games with other dogs.  Declan is just so adorable. He has a big personality packed in a little body. He would absolutely thrive at agility, fly ball, barnhunt, or really any sport you wanted to do with him except maybe dock diving (he's pretty dense and prefers wading to swimming, although he tolerates a bath well). Declan will need basic obedience training (he knows sit LOL) and will need continued structure and leadership particularly transitioning to a new home (read: continued crate practice) and conscientous sharing of freedom and affection to ensure he is not a Stage 5 clinger. He will also highly benefit from being an addition to a household with a canine companion or two. Room to run is a must! This boy is active and loves to zoom. Only single family residences will be considered, and resident dog(s) strongly preferred. Declan has not been evaluated with cats. Adoption Info: Declan's adoption fee is $550 which includes his neuter (3/20/25), core vaccinations per AVMA standards, recent vet visit, and microchip with lifetime registration. Your adoption fee may be tax deductible as Dog Gone Seattle is a 501c3 organization.  Apply online: www.doggoneseattle.org/adoption-application Animal History: Declan was found as a stray in eastern WA and taken into Dog Gone Seattle with known separation anxiety on 3/6/25. He has made great progress and is now available for adoption in the greater Seattle area. March 20, 2025, 11:58 pm

Story
Parson is a 7-month-old, 14-pound scruffy Border Terrier mix with an infectious enthusiasm for life! His whole body wags with excitement, and he’s always ready to play—whether it’s with toys, other dogs, or his favorite people. This happy, playful pup has all the fun energy of a young dog but without the typical puppy problems! He’s already potty trained, going to the door or crying when he needs to go out, and he’s doing great with crate training—sleeping through the night with his goldendoodle foster sibling and staying calm in his crate when left alone for short periods.Parson is dog-friendly and especially loves playing with bigger, laid-back dogs, so he’d thrive in a home with a confident canine buddy to show him the ropes. He’s already learned “sit” and is making great progress with leash training. If you’re looking for a smart, social, and eager-to-please pup who’s ready to bring endless joy and energy to your home, Parson might be your perfect match!IMPORTANT: Please read all below, especially if you live outside of Texas, which is where our rescue is located.Apply to adopt on our website: https://www.charmingpetrescue.org/adoptAll of our animals are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up to date on shots.ALL of our animals are located in Boerne, TX, but transport after adoption is available to other states for a $300 fee for dogs or an additional fee varying by location for cats. If you are seeing our pets posted in your state, that's because you live near a transport stop, they are not currently at that location. Petfinder lists our pets as 'Out of Town' pets at other locations, and Adopt-a-Pet lists our location as a Transport stop. Those are currently the only options they offer to make this clear, so we put this description we've put at the bottom to explain it. You can read more about transport here: www.charmingpetrescue.org/transportWe understand transport is not an option for everyone, but we offer it at the cost we pay the transport company for those who wish to adopt from us.March 20, 2025, 5:01 am

Story
Meet, Taffy, the tiniest pup of this litter and love of your life! Taffy is currently 2 months old and 4 pounds, and we think she may be a Terrier mix, but with rescue it’s always a guess! But we do know she is 100% sweet! This puppy is from a part of the US where puppies are regularly euthanized. So, this puppy needs you! If you choose a puppy from this rescue, it saves their life AND it also allows us to save the life of another in its place. Taffy adores the company of people and likes to sit to be called pretty. This tiny affectionate pup will happily crawl into your arm for snuggles and sweet moments of affection. Taffy loves toys and it's so entertaining to watch her play with them. Her foster family says that she is making great progress on potty training - this smart cookie knows to expect a reward now! Taffy has had experience living with other dogs and kids and would fit right in with a family. But if you’re looking for a loving new bestie, Taffy is ready to be your one and only. This sweet girl is the perfect mix of playful and cuddly, and she’s ready to bring joy to her forever home! We believe Taffy will be a medium sized dog. Her mom is a terrier mix about 30 pounds and dad is still a mystery. Taffy is still young so she will need a family that can commit to training, socialization and all the dedication puppyhood requires. Her new family will need to continue with potty and crate training and daily exercise. We require a commitment from adoptive families to crate train their new puppy. When old enough, they will be perfect to go on walks and hikes or show off around your neighborhood. You will be guaranteed to get lots of kisses in return from your new best friend! Available for adoption in NV, MT, CO,UT, ID, OR, WA, Canada, and now the East Coast! Our PNW dogs are brought to you in style by a beautiful USDA licensed semi-truck, equipped with air conditioning for comfort, two drivers, and 2 onboard attendants providing 24 hour care. Our East Coast route will travel in a private, air conditioned 3LP-run van transport. Pick up day is unforgettable! You will get to follow along on their journey through a private FB Event page, where you will see photos, have the opportunity to connect with other adopters, and receive updates and constant communication along the way. One of our Adoption Coordinators can help to find the closest transport pick up location to you! The adoption fee is $1200.00 and includes all vetting as recommended by our doctor: DAPP (2 to 4 depending on age and time in the program), Bordetella, Rabies vaccine (if old enough), multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, 2 months of heartworm preventative, extended medical such as dentals, eye surgeries, and orthopedic surgeries prior to adoption when suggested by our partner vets, a microchip with free lifetime registration, a high quality nylon Martingale collar for dogs over 4 months old, a health certificate deeming the pup healthy for travel, cost of transport*, and many priceless years of love and loyal companionship! *WE ARE TOLD THAT WE GO ABOVE AND BEYOND MEDICALLY. This is the feedback we tend to get, although we cannot guarantee perfect health. *To fully vet a dog in the PNW or the NE at many vets it would be upwards of $1,800 just to fix, vaccinate, chip, etc. The adoption fees charged by our rescue do not cover our expenses medically for each animal, but we offset costs with donations. Your adoption fee is considered a donation towards actual costs. Why adopt from Three Little Pitties? The stray and animal overpopulation in the Greater Houston area is the highest in the nation. Statistics show that there are over 1 million homeless animals in this region alone. Three Little Pitties Rescue is a nonprofit dog and cat rescue that partners with the community to make a difference. Our mission is to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and saving all breeds of dogs and cats from the streets or animal shelters that oftentimes have no other option but to euthanize animals for space. This dog you’ve found online is lucky to be in our program, and even luckier to have you notice it! Three Little Pitties wants to set you and your new pet up for success! We know our dogs and we work hard to prepare them socially for adoption. We are a network of dedicated people who are heavily invested in seeing our animals thrive. From the moment they are accepted into our program, our Intake, Behavior & Medical teams prepare them for adoption by properly vetting, behaviorally assessing, and providing customized plans depending on the dog’s needs. We seek to adopt to families who understand that these are rescue dogs and will require continued training efforts, but will be well on their way to being the best dogs that they can be! It doesn’t stop there! Our adopters also receive these special perks: • 30 day trial of pet insurance with Trupanion (must register within 24 hours of first vet appt.) • A free private online dog training session with GoodPup plus low pricing for future sessions (approx $25 weekly for an 8 week course of one session per week) • One free bonus toy in every BarkBox when signing up for their Super Chewer subscription plan • 70% off of your first order of Fetch, a PNW based, organic fresh dog food loaf meal subscription plan • Coupons for a fun visit to Petco • Access to our exclusive FB Adopters page, where you can network for play dates, resources, and connect with other adopters that share their passion for their adopted pup!
