Story
Payton is a very sweet girl. Since moving to Connecticut, she has developed some anxiety. I work and am going to school and at this point in her life I think a person who is retired would be a great fit for her. I have two other Boston’s who are both young and two cats all of which kind of run over her. She is 11 and blind, although she gets around really well. You would never even know she was blind if I didn’t tell you. I live on the second floor and she has fallen down the stairs a couple of times going outside, so she really needs a home with limited stairs. I just think these last years she has should be stress free and happy for her. I am not able to provide that for her and I feel horrible about it. She is fully house trained and still loves to go for walks, she also enjoys a car ride any chance she gets. She is not a barker and follows all commands. She doesn’t have a special diet or any health concerns. She really is a sweet old gal.

Story
weight 13 lbs age: 2 years  adoption donation: $799       Meet Batgirl! This sweet and gentle girl was found wandering alone in a rural part of Tennessee, a local family took her in and posted extensively to see if she’d been lost, but no one came looking for her.       Since then, Batgirl has won the hearts of everyone she’s met. She is smart and gentle, gets along great with the other dogs in the family and loves to snuggle. She adores car rides  and likes to eat bananas and watermelon! Batty lives with a young child and is very gentle with him. She likes to play fetch and occasionally will have the zoomies. Batty has all the wonderful Boston terrier qualities, she gives lots of kisses amd likes to sleep with her person, she especially likes to perch on the top of the pillow by your head. She lives with two cats and aside from an occasional sniff, ignores them.     The vet estimates Batgirl is about two years old. She’s heartworm negative and is up-to-date on vaccines and will be spayed shortly. Batty will be ready  to travel to the northeast the weekend of July 12. She would fit in well in almost any kind of home, she would love people around for company and another dog to play with, but she’s also fine on her own, she will snuggle on a dog bed and greet you at a very waggy tail  when you come home       Wags is a licensed 501 C3 where one woman takes care of almost 150 homeless and stray dogs many of them have expensive medical needs.. Adoption fees include transport, vaccinations, microchip, and spay or neuter.  for more information on Batgirl or any of our rescue dogs please email Mariaeftimiades@yahoo.com  July 14, 2024, 4:18 pm
