All Pet Central animals are up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations, spayed or neutered, microchipped (registration included), and current on parasite prevention. Dogs over six-months of age are heartworm tested. When adopting, we will ensure that you receive copies of veterinary and microchip records. If you are interested in this pet, please fill out the brief Adopter Survey by hitting "Apply for Adoption" on the profile. After we review your completed survey we will contact you by phone or email within three business days. We're primarily a volunteer organization, so we appreciate your patience. Please note- Out of respect for our volunteers and staff, we are closed on Sundays and Mondays and will not be processing any applications on that day. Do get back to us right away when we call or email regarding an application so that we can quickly connect using the process below: Select a pet and submit an online adoption survey. A PCH adoption counselor will contact potential adopters within three business days (PCH cannot guarantee any pet's availability, but we make every effort to accommodate adopters with a reply and possible alternative suggestions). Counselor and client will then have a conversation to answer questions, discuss any medical needs for the pet and determine the suitability of a match (if necessary, we may opt to put adopters in touch with foster parents). After a match is made, clients will be asked to sign our adoption agreement and pay the adoption fee online through our secure payment system *Please see our modified no-risk return policy. (below) The PCH adoption counselor will then set up a specific appointment time and location. Adopters should bring a pet carrier and leash to pick up. Adult pets will be wearing a collar. It is important that clients arrive on time, neither early nor late. If your adoption is scheduled at Pet Central Helps!: Upon arrival inside the Crossroads Center complex (360 Wylie Drive), look for the black Pet Central Helps! semi-trailer, which is right outside of our facility (Suite 720). Park in the parking lot and enter the facility. A PCH representative will greet you and show you to the adoption room. Your new pet will be handed to you. We will take a "Happy Adoption Day photo with your pet and family. If your adoption is scheduled at PetSmart: Park in the PetSmart Parking lot and enter the store. We will be set up just inside the store entrance. Let us know you are here to pick up your pet! A PCH representative will confirm your information and hand you your pet. We will take a "Happy Adoption Day photo with your pet and family. PCH supports a 21-day no-fault return policy in which adopters are given the opportunity to find a better match. If we are not able to provide advice/tools to keep a pet in the home we offer these options: Exchange for a pet that may be a better match** Receive a refund minus a $40 processing fee** With this approach, we can often turn mismatches into opportunities! Hello world! My name is Tux! I am a 7.5 month old Boston Terrier boy and I weigh about 25 pounds. So far, I am getting along well with the resident dogs in my foster home, and I'm great with children and meeting new adult friends, too! My foster family is helping me with my potty training. I'm happy to report that I sleep quietly in my crate like a good boy! I am a big fan of playing with my toys and going for a romp around the yard. My foster mom says I'm the cutest, and I have to agree :) I would love to find a home with another dog, but I'll do well anywhere as long as my forever family is patient and understanding since I'm still learning the ropes. I'm excited to meet my future humans so let TNT know if you'd like to meet me! My adoption fee is $650

Meet Fred(rico). Fred is a 9 year old Boston Terrier who is a breeder release. But don't be fooled by his age! This mature guy still gets the zoomies while playing with his foster sister or while playing catch with his ball. Fred's sweet face matches his sweet natured demeanor. He would do well in home with children. Fred is a gentle soul who loves to cuddle and snuggle and just be close to you. Fred's foster family said they are working on teaching Fred how to be in a family. He is currently learning how to go potty outside 100% of the time and taking walks on a leash. Both of which are challenges for Fred. Because of this, Fred will need a family who has lots of patience with him as he learns the ropes is life on the outside. He is crate trained and is very comfortable in a crate sleeping at night as well as while his foster family is away from home. Schedule a meet with Fred today!

Bam Bam was a stray! Can you believe that?! This little guy came in very malnourished, weak and hungry as a bear. Now he is healthy, happy and ready for his furever home! He was BB's playmate and absolutely loved having her to cuddle with. Now that she is adopted, we're hoping someone will take him home so he's not all alone! He is such a feisty little guy and his absolute favorite thing to do is untie your shoe laces! Obviously at his age he is not trained but he is a smart boy and someone could teach him everything in the world! He would absolutely love to go on adventures with his new family because he already likes car rides! He will also be a very slick haired dog so no worries about tons of shedding in the house! He has been in foster with one of the UCAC girls and he has already learned so much! He is kennel trained, is started on potty training, LOVES to sleep in bed with the kids, goes for an occasional dip in the pool and doesn't even need a fenced in yard because his recall is already so great! He will need to go on a foster to adopt program due to his age. He will need to be brought back to UCAC once a month for his puppy vaccines and when he is 6 months old his adoption fee of $275 will be due.
