Welcome to the rescue, Violet!  Violet was surrendered to the rescue from a breeder when the owner needed to travel for medical reasons.  Violet is a female, 5 year old Boston Terrier.   Violet was used for breeding for many years, but now she is free to be loved and live the good life!  She is very shy when first meeting someone, but once she adjusts she becomes a silly, playful girl. Once she steals your heart, she'll start stealing and stockpiling your things!  Violet is a very smart and curious dog who loves to learn.  She enjoys having her chin and ears scratched.  She does well with dogs larger than herself, but for unknown reasons she does not care for dogs smaller than herself. Unfortunately, cats are a no go.  Violet is housebroken, but still need to learn to walk on leash.  A PHYSICALLY FENCED YARD IS REQUIRED FOR VIOLET.   She would do best with another dog in the home.  Violet will need a patient adopter willing to give her the time she needs to adjust.  The reward will be worth it!  They are being fostered together and adore each other.  The adoption fee for Violet is $275 which goes towards spaying at our vet, vaccines and medical care up to adoption, microchip and costs associatied with fostering. ##2086068##

Charlotte Good with dogs, cats, kids. Great in kennel. Cautious in beginning with men but once comfortable, very loving. She is still very much getting comfortable with surroundings and will NOT walk on leash so will need a yard while she gets trained. She needs an adopter with patience as she is easily spooked. Charlotte came to the rescue with a broken leg and was pregnant. She was likely hit by a car as her uterus had ruptured and had to be spayed immediately. She has a strong and very sweet spirit and will make someone's family complete. She LOVES kids and is good with other dogs. She has come very far with me in the short time she has been here so I know she will only gain more trust as time goes on. We have no idea what kind of situation she came from other than neglectful, so lets find her the BEST home!! Only the best need apply :) ADOPT DON'T SHOP!!! HER LIFE DEPENDS ON IT!!! Local adoption fee is $500 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $800 (includes transport to your area, $50 temporary fuel fee will be included)
