Story
Meet Dini, a very special young lady who we believe to be Mastiff/Boxer mix. At only 11 months old, she has already experienced so much tragedy yet, she has a heart brimming with love and enthusiasm for life. During her rough start, she had her tail slammed in a door followed by a leg injury that was left untreated and had to be amputated. This girl will need a confident, experienced owner who is dedicated to training, particularly in the areas of socialization and reactivity in order to improve her interactions with other animals. Because she has these issues, a household with small children and other pets is not recommended. Dini's ideal home would be one that has a backyard in a quiet neighborhood where she would be showered with all of the attention and affection she so desperately deserves. Her guardian will need to be calm, patient and committed and capable of handling a large breed puppy who still needs to be taught manners. Dini is full of cuddles and love, and patiently waiting for the right family to give it to.If you're looking for a loving companion who will fill your life with joy, Dini is ready to bring her warmth and affection into your home. Are you ready to give Dini the loving home she deserves?1. Story
Bruiser is a very friendly male Bull/Boxer X. He's brindle with white markings. A beautiful dog, Bruiser is about 8 yrs old. We're working on his lead training & he knows his basic commands. Not much is known about his background but we can confidently say that he's a sweet boy that loves attention. We feel that he may do best as an only pet as he can be dog aggressive. As he is a senior, his adoption fee is reduced.

Story
Befitting her name meaning rippling water, Popples is a high energy, active gal who keeps life fun! p🥳 Popples is a 1.5 year old Boxer/Brussels Griffon mix weighing approximately 40 pounds. ❣️Popples is truly a one-of-a-kind little gremlin. Her goofy antics and playful personality will bring joy to any home. She loves chewing on antlers, playing fetch, and snuggling with her favorite humans. While she can be reactive around other dogs, she's making significant strides in her socialization journey. With proper introductions and managed playdates, she could thrive in a home with a well-mannered canine companion. She is not suited for an off-leash dog park or doggy daycare. 🐕 🧑‍🤝‍🧑Popples' boundless energy and playful nature might be a bit much for young children. She'd do best in a home with older kids/adults who can keep up with her and provide the mental and physical stimulation she craves. Cats? Not so much. They seem to resemble tasty snacks to Popples, she wouldn't do well with other small animals either. 🚫🐈 😱Popples is a great walker when the environment is calm and quiet. However, she can get a bit fearful around bicycles, loud trucks and loud noises. With consistent training and a strong, patient human, she can learn to manage her reactivity. She is a total pro at crate training. She's happy to relax in her crate, especially during her recovery period. As she continues to grow and learn, she can gradually transition to free-roaming.💗 🚽Popples potty trained and very efficient in doing so outside! A Few Things to Note: - Popples can be a bit wary of the "cone of shame." - She's a big fan of most toys, but antlers are her absolute favorite. - Popples needs an active lifestyle including daily walks, playtime, and mental stimulation.🏃

Story
Hola! My name is GABO and here is some info about me: PHYSICAL INFO: Breed: Boxer Mix Age: About 8 years Gender: Male Weight: 50 lbs (23 kg) Height: 71 cm (paws to top of my head) Length: 82 cm (head to butt) Current Location: MEXICO CITY RESCUE STORY - When I was just a puppy (about 8 months old) my "owners" abandoned me on a high-traffic main road; a place where dogs are often dropped by people wanting to get rid of us for good. I was so skinny and scared! Luckily, I was rescued by some wonderful hoomans, who took me to the shelter. I have been a good boy living in the shelter for the last EIGHT YEARS! I really hope that I can find my furever home soon! TEMPERAMENT - I am a happy, playful and well-behaved boy. I am very sweet and friendly with humans and dogs alike and I LOVE to go for walkies! I love to eat pretty well anything - but my favourite foods are sausages, tortillas, bread and carrots! I am so excited to snuggle and play with my new family! Here are some videos of me getting pets! video video 2 ENERGY LEVEL - Medium - I am a sweet and well-behaved boy who loves attention, playing and walkies! Here are some videos of me on a walk! walk 1 walk 2 walk 3 walk 4 walk 5. Here I am playing with my ball and another of me and my ball. GETS ALONG WITH: Kids – Unknown. Dogs – Yes - I get along well with other dogs in my shelter and that I meet on walks. Cats – Unknown. PREY DRIVE - Unknown. I’m not too sure how I’ll react around squirrels/rabbits etc., so my adopter needs to be prepared and willing to train me through these behaviours, should they arise. TRAINING: Leash skills – Work in progress. I have been working on my leash skills, but I don't pull! I will need an adopter who is happy to work with me on my leash manners. A well-fitted harness and some dedicated leash training will help set me up for success! Gabo Meets other Dogs House trained – Work in progress. Frequent potty breaks and positive reinforcement will help me learn housetraining in my new home :) Please Note: WCP highly encourages adopters to do some research and training on their own before their dog arrives.  HEALTH NOTES: I am neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. I will come to Canada with proof of all my vaccines and test records. I will be tested for Heartworm etc. before flying North. NOTE: It is not uncommon for rescue dogs to require dental work/cleaning after they are adopted, particularly dogs who have lived for long periods at the shelter. West Coast Paws does not cover the costs of dental work and/or vet visits. These costs are the financial responsibility of the adopter. ADOPTION FEE: My adoption fee is $728.00 CAD including taxes (5% GST, 7% PST), which includes my airfare, if a flight volunteer is found directly to Vancouver. ------------------------------------- DISCLAIMER: Please visit wcpdogrescue.com to read about West Coast Paws Dog Rescue and its adoption process. The info included in each WCP bio is provided to us from the international rescuer. WCP does not have in-person access to overseas dogs and cannot always verify the accuracy of their descriptions, although we ask for video proof of a dog's attributes wherever possible. Every dog is an individual and can act differently in different situations based on the person(s) adopting them and the environment in which they live. WCP is unable to guarantee the accuracy of a dogs age and/or breed. These are strictly "best guesses" based on veterinary exams and their educated estimates. ##1886007##
