Story
Chopper is a sweet and affectionate dog who is looking for his forever home. He came into our care when his previous owners were no longer able to take care of him. Once Chopper bonds with his people, he loves to be around them most of the time. He has a curious nature and tends to explore the house for things to play with when left alone.Chopper has seasonal allergies that require some medical care to keep him comfortable. He may have food sensitivities, so he will need to be on a limited ingredient diet. Additionally, he is working through some skin issues and will require regular medicated baths to soothe his dry skin.Chopper would likely do best in a home without other dogs. Due to his prey drive he would need a home with no other small animals. He is looking for a loving home where he can be the center of attention and receive the care he needs. If you're ready to give Chopper the loving home he deserves, come meet this special guy!Do you think you could be Chopper's person? Here are some ways to find out: Visit our centre to meet this pet during adoption viewings Friday to Tuesday noon to 3pm, learn more about their ideal match, and apply to adopt in person; orSubmit an online application adopt.spca.bc.ca and staff will contact the first suitable adopter to set-up a visit! Kindly note that due to the high number of applications and the availability of walk-in adoptions an online applicant would have to be available to come in for a meet within 24 hrs.
