Freya is a super sweet is a medium to high energy dog. She enjoys playing and snuggling after a long day. She would do best with older children and she believes that she is a lap dog and might accidently bump them in her excitedness. She would do well either in an apartment or a house with a backyard. She enjoys walks and does very well with ignoring all that is around her. She would make anyone a fantastic friend. She loves to be right near your side and show you love and attention. Story
ABOUT ZOEY This lady is a very, very sweet girl. Zoey is a 5.5 year old boxer mix that is sure to melt her way into your heart and lap! She came to HAP when her owner could no longer care for her. Understandably, she was really depressed her first few days in the shelter, often found shaking in her kennel. She has since opened up, showing us how affectionate and smart she is. Zoey knows tons of commands, including 'sit', 'sit pretty', 'down', 'stand', and knows gives you both of her paws. She is very laid-back and walks beautifully with a harness. She enjoys her walks and loves to sniff everything! If you are interested in adopting this dog, please submit an adoption questionnaire! Our adoption process is on a first-come, best-match basis and we are not able to hold animals. If you are interested in this specific dog but it ends up not being the best fit upon meeting, our adoption counselors will work with you to help find a match! All household members, including children and other dogs, must come along for the meeting to make sure it's a good fit. If a match is made, we encourage same-day adoptions! Our adoption fees include the animals' spay/neuter, microchip, age-appropriate vaccinations and preventatives, fecal testing, heartworm testing, and a small bag of food to get you started.

Story
Penny is an 8 year old purebred fawn (reddish) Boxer with ACA papers. She is the friendliest, happiest dog in the world. She never met a person she didnt like. She rarely barks, so is not a good watch dog. She has spent all her life with her best friend, Diamond, who is also a Boxer. We had them since they were puppies, and sadly need to rehome them as we are moving. (We would be happy to keep them together, but its not mandatory if they each go to good homes.) She is up to date on her shots. Her vet records will come with her. She will thrive with a good home and will definitely repay loving attention!
We'll also keep you updated on Diamond's adoption status with email updates.

Story
Diamond is a male, 8 year old, fawn (reddish) purebred Boxer with ACA papers. He has lived his whole life with us and with his best friend, Penny, who is also a Boxer. He is super friendly and laid back. He's on the bigger side for a Boxer, but still thinks he is a lap dog! He is up to date on his shots. His vet records will come with him. He loves taking walks and just playing around with his family. When he was younger, he had an injury, a torn tendon, so that leg has some arthritis now. We have him on Carprofen for the pain. The vet also recommended glucosamine. We would love to rehome him and Penny together, but it's not a requirement if they each find good homes.
