Story
Herbie is a lovable 70-pound Boxer mix with a heart full of gold. About a year old, he was found wandering the back roads of Tennessee without a collar or microchip, battling a tough case of mange. While no one has come forward to claim him, Herbie is now looking for his forever family! His skin is healing beautifully, and his sweet, curious nature shines through more each day. ‍&#226&#153&#130&#239&#184&#143 Herbie enjoys his daily walks and is getting better at leash manners. He’s also learning to curb his excitement when greeting people! He’s great with other dogs and, after playtime, is happy to sit quietly by your side. He hasn’t been tested with cats or kids yet, but we think his gentle personality would be a great match for the right home! Critter Cavalry Rescue is a Middle Tennessee-based 501(c)(3) that travels to the Northeast states weekly, helping high-risk homeless animals like Herbie find loving homes. For more info on our mission, adoption fees, and drop-off points, visit us at CritterCavalry.com! &#226&#156&#168 Could your family be the one Herbie's been waiting for? &#226&#157&#164&#239&#184&#143 Email us at ccrnewengland@gmail.com to request an adoption application.  PLEASE NOTE:   Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region.  Request an application and learn more about Critter Cavalry at https://www.crittercavalry.com/adoption.November 11, 2024, 7:28 pm

Story
Please contact Lowell Nelson (lowelln@luckydoganimalrescue.org) for more information about this pet.Sweet Lady ROSALIE NEEDS A FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME!!!! Name:   Rosalie      Best Guess for Breed:   Boxer/Lab Mix    Best Guess for Age:   1 year as of Sep 2024         SEX:   Female   Approximate Weight:  46 lbs   Gets Along With:   Other dogs!  We're not sure about cats or kids yet, but we can find out!    Currently Living at:   Shelter, needs a foster or forever home!    Rosalie is looking for:  Her forever family! As a young puppy, she landed in a shelter so far south in Texas, it's only 30 miles from the Mexican border - and the shelter routinely has 1200+ animals in its care. Despite having such an enormous number to care for, shelter staff do an amazing job with all their dogs and Rosalie is a great, loving dog and wonderful with other dogs, Unfortunately, there is a massively skewed ratio of available homes to dogs in the area - so her only hope of getting a home is out of state. This is a personal message from her about what she is looking for in a home:'A loving family who can give me plenty of exercise and attention.  I have a playful spirit and enjoy long walks, playing fetch, and exploring new places. My favorite thing is to be around my humans, whether we’re playing or just relaxing together.  Will you make my dreams come true?'  What My Foster Says About Me:  There are also way more dogs in that shelter than there are available fosters in the DC area. This section cannot be completed until she gets up here. If you'd like to foster or adopt her - see below! Lucky Dog cannot guarantee any dog is housebroken.  All of our dogs are working on their crate training.  TO ADOPT:      The adoption fee for this dog is $460, which includes the cost of routine vetting, including vaccinations and spay/neuter. If you are interested in adopting, please complete the Adoption Questionnaire online   at   bit.ly/adoptaluckydog  .   Lucky Dog Animal Rescue does our best to provide accurate information about the dogs we have for adoption. That said, we cannot make any guarantees about age, breed or temperament. Thank you for contacting Lucky Dog Animal Rescue and helping to save a life!  Please visit us online at      www.luckydoganimalrescue.org   .    BE A FOSTER!!!     Fosters make it possible for Lucky Dog Animal Rescue to save and care for homeless and abandoned dogs! To learn about fostering, please contact fostering@luckydoganimalrescue.org!
