Looking for a dog companion that knows the ropes? Sherman is your man! 7 year old Sherman is easy to handle, walks well on the leash, is very very house trained! (he holds it) Does well in his kennel, takes treats gently and sits on command. Sherman weighs in about 51lbs and says he doesn`t eat very much. Sherman gets along well with other calm/laid back dogs. He is in our Gentle/Dainty multi dog play group. This laid back guy would be great for snuggling up on movie nights, calm quiet walks and just chillin`.

He is house and crate trained and knows basic commands. He is selective with other dogs and prefers to be top dog. He is not good with small furry critters like cats or chickens. He has a prey drive and is protective over his 'things' (toys, bed, crate, bowls). He is a good boy at bath time but hates having his toenails clipped. (With patience and love he now trusts me to do this.) Our dog adoption fees range from $95 to $400 and include spay/neuter, microchip, a rabies vaccine and a parvo/distemper vaccine. It also includes a heartworm test. All dogs are current on heartworm and flea prevention. From there you can find the dog and comment on his or her picture which will notify the foster family of your interest. You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.This handsome, good boy is Truman and he came to us as a dumped stray. We believe Truman was born around 1/18/22 and is a stunning black with white Boxer/Bully mix. Truman is very sweet, friendly and loving and will make a wonderful addition to almost any home. Truman is a young boy and likes to play with other dogs but we have not had him around cats (if you submit your application, we can cat test). We took Truman to our Amazing Vets because we noticed his tail looks 'wonky'. Well after x-rays, it looks like he has a congenital issue with some of the vertebrae in a couple spots on his tail. This deformity in his tail is not bothering him at all now, but we want to mention that he may need amputation of his tail later in life, if it causes arthritic related problems. Truman is a medium sized dog, so we like to recommend a home with a fenced in backyard and/or plans for daily exercise and socialization. If you're not in a position to adopt, Truman would love to be in a Foster home while waiting for his forever home! Amazing Grace Bully Rescue is a foster based rescue in the Pensacola, Florida area.
